  • doesnt happen on newer style kites. can mainly be avoided by sheeting out.

  • Thanks for show us !!!

  • good **

  • Thanks for the great tip. Im just recovering from a crash cuz I didnt know this info.

  • in water you will not go down with a kiteloop these guys snowkiting are underpowered for a good reason mountains equal up drafts

  • @w0mbhanger Considering your statement that "in water you will not go down with a kiteloop" (and not only, the others too) it is clear that your kiteboarding experience is very limited.

I suggest you to try this:

google " advanced techniques to bail out of air loft " and you will find the kiteforum thread.

There you can find more arguments, links, etc. Please read carefully, and if you have any comments, feel free to post it there. I'll answer you as soon as possible.

  • you new that could happen! first 2 clips dude is NOT DOING kiteloops he just got an updraft kite equipement is safe enought to be doing these snow jumps unless your trying to kill yourself. Do not use an old harness use a foil and rig lines double lines or extra thick ones cause harnesses and lines break and an inflatable can explode ive heard some people where parashoots when snokiteing

  • Crazy stuff brah!

  • pretty amazing stuff my friend, romanian alps look incredible.

  • Yes, we certainly have to learn from paragliders, and from those who master the flight and the gliding.

  • Paragliders use this technique constantly. Maybe there's more stuff to learn from each-other :)

  • Paragliders can suffer the same fate of getting caught in very strong lift and yes one of the things that you do to loose height in a controlled manner is to "spiral dive" or as you call it looping

  • where is the snowkiting place? it looks a very safe place where to learn snow kite. Thanks

  • @aconsolo It's in Sinaia, Cota 2000, Romania.

  • sooo i just bought this 5m traction kite (ozone) and ive never flown anything like it before. im i going to hurt myself? lol how do you do a kite loop? oh and that was a sick ass vid! awesome. where is this?

  • @ManBearPig1134 with a 5m tractionkite you won't fly like that in these winds.

only in storms it would become dangerous.

  • how you perform the kiteloop and when ?????

  • @depret5 google " advanced techniques to bail out of air loft " and you will find the kiteforum thread.

There you can find more arguments, links, etc.

  • you just freaked the shit outta me I should take the kitesurfing tour back to the travel agency ....damn

  • Very nice, and good to know.

  • @ls1chevy2 Thanks

  • One of the most useful videos on YouTube and might just save you life one day

  • @dunkintheshed Thank you

  • great post! spectacular!

  • кайф.

  • Sorry... but if you trying looping yourkite on flat land / watter when you're lifted by windgust will multiply your chances of dieing... a lot. By looping with wind gust - usualy it's not wind gust but wind which goes up (so your powerzone goes to zenit and you got pulled up), you will get a lot of horizontal speed... so after loop there will not be enough lift force for you kite to land smoothly... you will fell like rock...

That doesn't applies to mountains, where wind blows up :)

  • Dude, those kiteloops look like soo much fun. Got to love snowkiting. Wish we had a local spot like that. Nice work.

  • whats the second song?

  • Great video;)! helps alot of people

  • @gunmaiak Thx

  • EPIC VIDEO..... till the wind drops :)

    no seriously this is good

  • This video will save lifes! Thx

  • Are you completely gay?

Loop your kite when you get lifted up not voluntarily and you gonna die 100 %ly.

Looping your Kite when you fly down a hill in snowkiting is a completely different thing and is not comparable in any way to the situations 1 and 2

  • @peaceboy3

It's funny the difference between your name and the words you use !!

If you still think so, google " advanced techniques to bail out of air loft " and you will find the kiteforum thread.

There you can find arguments which will help you understand what I explained in the movie.

  • @johnbambammorgan

The first movie, with that song is not mine, so I don't know it's name. I have searched on the web the song, but I didn't find a anything. Maybe you can find it on applications that recognize songs.

    Sorry for responding late.

  • Very good video for neewbees...youve got my respect...hope people use this lesson !

  • @PAW211271

Thanks, i hope that too :D

  • I'd like to try it on water but I haven't been kiting on water for well over 5 years... On dry land I don't even try to kite, because i have broken my wrist from 5 places when I was mountainboarding, so I have only been snowkiting... I should start Kiteboarding on water again... I even have my board in my storageroom. But if I start kiteboarding again, I'll sell my Kiteloose Big Dgur and get a new Flyradical board for me...

  • I want to ask a thing... What do I do if I have 19m2 kite, and it pulls me up? It is so slow, that if i loop it, i will go crashing down... It will not loop fast enough, i would lose more than 20 metres of air... Do I simply let it glide and hope the best?

  • @Flysurfer1991 First of all, and as I mentioned in the movie, you should try the kiteloop ON THE WATER (with the kite you want to attempt it on snow )... The 19m2 is not only slow, but it can allso collapse, in certain conditions.

My advice is not to try anything on the land, if you can't do it on the water. I wouldn't atempt to do kiteloops with the 19m2 (as I know it) on the land.

  • Pay attention: I haven't spoken of the equipment's quality and kite lines, harness, chickenloop, etc.. But it's self understood, that you have to trust them, and to know them very well.

  • @kite4surf i managed once but it's not a lot of power and for landing it in those conditions you should let go off the bar when high up in the air to gain airspeed and then a few maby 5 to 10 meters above ground pull it and try to have a smooth touchdown i pulled myslef up with a boat once so i tried

  • @Flysurfer1991

get lifted up and hope the best but never loop it in that situation

  • @peaceboy3

It's not a good thing to make a statement without bringing arguments.

That's why I recommend you again to go on the kiteforum thread ( google " advanced techniques to bail out of air loft " ) where I already answered to a similar afirmation ( there I can use links, etc .. )

  • Really Cool, your vid could save lots of injury... and lives. Everybody wants to do jumps, they end up with a jump higher then expected and worst still, out of control. Thanks for sharing.

  • @BlackDiver777

thank you for the comment :)

  • sick. I've had a dream before I even knew about (snow)kiting: I was skiing and at once i flew all over the mountains there, landing safely on the snow some metres lower.. Then I woke up and thought: damn, that feeling was awesome.

And you had it. I'm jealous...

  • @glaswasser haha yes, i loved that feeling, and it remained one of my dreams. I just can't wait for the next winter, with the hope, that i will have the conditions to do that again, and perhaps even more :D

But don't forget about safety... Good luck, and please don't forget to write me if you succed fulfilling your dream.

  • You are very skilled at looping your kite. But in my opinion you are playing with fire. Dont encourage others to do the same. Fun to watch, but from those heights over land you could die if anything went wrong. Broken line, chicken loop, harness failure, anything. I am sure you know that, but if you are going to put all the warnings at the end of this vid maybe you should say something like I am risking my life kiting like this.

  • @esnyder77 Thank you for the comments, you are right, but i think with damaged or inapropriate equipment your life is in danger in any situation, not only in high jumps. This vid is more a warning than an invitation. I've started the movie with two real accidents, beacause those things can happen and is good to avoid these situations. I believe it is better to talk about this, than to ignore it.

  • @esnyder77 " 4 - high jumps only in good places and good conditions ( 1m layer of snow etc......) "
