  • shes real pretty...

  • People DO NOT listen to her. She is a con and has no idea about ballanced nutrition.

  • @malakispanien & you have no idea how to even spell balanced haha I don't think I will listen to you.

  • she looks pretty, i would love to have shake and something more :)

  • You're so beautiful...want to have a protein shake with me?

  • Who said I prefer the mass giants, I actually prefer natural functional bodybuilders who can stretch, pull ups ect.

  • @james9689

Bodybuilders....give me a break! Most have no functional strength at all. Suggest you learn a little about real strength from true strong men like Arthur Saxon, Eugen Sandow, George Hackenschmidt, William A. Pullum, Louis Cyr etc. Learn real exercises like the bent press, turkish get up, dead lift, dips, chins and pullups, farmer's walk, etc. I have seen bodybuilders that can't do a single pullup. Learn about true strength training and forget about the beach muscle bodybuilding!

  • More protein brainwashing from mainstream nutritionists. No matter how much food we eat, we gotta get "MORE PROTEIN"!!!!

Protein powders, like slash3rr says below are all toxic to the body. They are made of highly refined and processed ingredients that acidify the body.

Nutrition textbooks teach that you can get all the protein we need on a healthy diet of whole foods...fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and small amounts of clean animal protein. Wake up people, don't waste your $.

  • what brand of protein powder she said it is? anybody, thy

  • @kinsag

I've never seen it in any trusted bodybuilding suppliers catalogues which means it's one of those crap overpriced branded types.

  • Theres no health benifit of protein shakes. They are chemical and you dont need it. They have a lot of chemicals for taste and such. Also its made from sick animals which isnt good.

Also you dont need it! If you just eat some meat you have enough.

  • @slash3rr

Good luck getting your 200/300/400grams of protein per day from meat/fish alone, you're obviously not buy the correct protein powder if you think they are a chemical.

  • @james9689

200/300/400 grams of protein!!! I hope you don't mean "per day".

  • @jgfergus

1.5/2 grams protein per lb, 200lb guys go figure.

I see your advice and you seem to be misguided between casual light workingout people and bodybuilders : /

  • @james9689

You've swallowed the protein lies hook, line and sinker, just like most of society. But if you honestly believe you need that much protein, get it from quality sources like organic grass fed beef, lamb, etc. Hemp seed is a great source of high quality plant protein. Don't waste your money on processed crap out of a can!

A question for you to ponder...when is the human body growing at its most rapid rate? In the first 6 months of life we double our weight.

  • And as babies, we were designed to consume breast milk only. And how much protein is in breast milk? 1.1 grams/100ml. Most babies drink between 500ml and 1 liter of breast milk per day. Do the math.

If you are consuming as much protein as you recommend, be prepared for some serious health issues down the road like arthritis, osteoporosis, liver and kidney problems, autoimmune problems, and premature aging due to all the acidic compounds you are dumping into your bloodstream.

  • @jgfergus Thing is, here in the UK. food products made in the EU are tested much like medicines & drugs. They are tested to see the long term effects associated with the manufacturer recommended consumption. American products are renowned for being dubious. They aren't regulated. I'm not sure, but do you see Maximuscle, PhD & Sci-MX products sold in the US?

    THE PROTEIN MYTH

  • so hot

  • How much grams of protein can I have on one day? Many thanks for your answer.

  • The high end is 2 grams per lbs of body weight, this is for seriuos weight gainers.

For average ppl who work out it's 1-1.5 grams per lbs of body weight.

and the low end is 0.5 grams per lbs of body weight.

Also if your trying to lose weight it the body weight you desire not what you are.

I read this some where... can't remember where, but hopefully it gives you a starting point

  • Thanks!
