@nickabbas90 I can see the Akhlaqiat in such mahfils. Hades Shareef says any thing that is not done by him is not from Islam. This type of singing mahfils were not held so it means this is not part of Islam. If someone killed him and you label that person then I can see the Akhlaqiat. May Allah keep us safe from such singers and dramas to keep us safe from shirk, mafiqat etc

The fact is, as far as religion goes (any religion), no one on this earth (that includes you, me and everyone else) is capable of saying for sure what is right and what is wrong. It is therefore a waste of time trying to tell anyone that they are right or wrong!. Lets enjoy the music, which is superb. I have heard a number of different versions of Dama Da Mast Qalander, but this is the best. Best composition and beautiful verses, I like his style. Would love to see him live someday, I hope. I just wish these people would not spoil the show by going on stage and throwing what appears to be money?
