  • Excellent Presentation video. Of course it is completely right to say that 'CFS' and 'M.E' are not synoymous. This travesty of a myth has been created and perpetuated nicely by some parts of the psychiatric branch of medicine for gain that is not in the interest of many very sick and disabled patients.'M.E' is a separate entity but one whose disease process can follow a similar path to other inflammatory conditions of the central nervous system. The resultant central damage can be catastrophic.

  • Excellent vid, Bond Girl! I'm another ME agent on the warpath, esp. over the dreadful "CFS" name. Many doctors are useless re ME because they are not educated about it in Med School and not informed in the professional journals which provide their ongoing education. I don't go to mine unless I have to these days - it's a waste of time and energy. She doesn't know anything about ME and can't join the dots of my symptoms to make a complete picture. The disease is bad enough. The stigma is worse.

  • @shoshiplatypus Thanks. The stigma that is related to M.E. is devestating when doctors don't investigate further and treat this illness as .... only.... and .... just.... chronic fatigue. It's more than that. M.E. has a dysfunction of the neurological system.... CFS has the stigma as only and just fatigue. Chronic fatigue can be related to any illness and this is where doctors go very wrong. It's the wide range of symptoms that give the clue it's more than fatigue. THat's just one symptom
