I really don't see the attraction to this piece, the arrangement is horrible. Its just a mess of sound lacking any form really. The piano version is so much better.

@Wiseman108 XD he wasn't really a crappy villain per say, but he was indeed very annoying every time i faced im especially in Mt. Gagazet =_= The battle inside sin i must say though was very fun!
This guy was stupid, there was no story buildup to the battle, he looked dumb, and he didn't even fight much himself, just a stupid little coward. At least Necron, Zemus, and Cloud of Darkness had a few lines in their respective games and they actually put up a decent fight.
@Wiseman108 well he's not really meant to be the last boss that the whole plot revolves around, I consider Jecht being the final boss. Yu Yevon is supposed to be weak, that's why he is small and gets inside things (like Sin) to corrupt them.
@MetalliCxZero That's a good point, and when you really think about it, Sin, Jecht, Yu Yevon are all the same being, so either could be considered to be the final boss. I still think Seymour should have been the primary antagonist though. :P

Say what you will of the battle itself but I like this battle cause of this song alone. Call me crazy but I like this theme more then the Jecht battle theme.
sure, it was (almost) impossible to get game over, but yu yevon was quite the bitch to fight. it sortof helped when I had magic break and reflect on it to counteract the constant curagas
Final fantasy is the reason why my favorite instrument is the piano, and its also the reason why I like this type of music even more than rock or electronic modern music. But some FF music includes those last mentioned so I still like them anyways :)
Yu Yevon was PETHETIC!!! hes so easy that i beat HIM WITH ONLY COUNTER ATTACK!!! Seriously i even tried to Lose and i still beat him. i lost 2 of my teamate's while i was trying to beat him And my teamate kills him with counterattack. and guess who it was? @megamanzx9000 while thats probably whats intented its most likely that shuyin's likelness is totally coincidence. one thing for example is that tidus has no characteritic/personality features like shuyin
@Poodendog Um, no, it's admitted in-game that Tidus is basically the dream-version/physical misinterpretation of Shuyin. It's like trying to remember someone you haven't seen in forever; you can only make out vague details but the core aspects are there.
@shadowleader358 go to ffdream.net then download it to your media player. then send it to your ipod. I was able to do this with "calm silence before the storm"
The Jecht fight just before Yu Yevon kind of served its purpose of a hardass battle for me, unless you're extremely overpowered, Yu Yevon was a good battle because you still had the OSHIT factor when all 3 of your characters died, but shortly after were revived, it was was alright and a decent cooldown from Jecht and the ending was perfect.
To everyone going " BAAAAAWWW EASY LAST BOSS"... After fighting Yunalesca, Sin, Seymour for the third FUCKING time, and Jecht...you should be thankful Yu Yevon was nothing more than a glowing tick.
i think you mean 4 times, the first (In macalania) the second (seymour natus) the third (Seymour Flux) and the fourth (seymour natilus, i think, the one inside sin)
@RobLance07 Eh Sephiroth at the very end was much easier to beat you literally unleash one attack on him and he dies, the only real difference is that Sephiroth can kill you if you just let him beat on you like a bitch.
@x1NeMeSiS1x Actually, if you mean the battle after the battle with Safer Sephiroth, I don't think Sephiroth can actually kill you there, since you automatically counterattack after the first attack, and I don't think the first attack can kill you. Unless there's a trick I don't know about? Whereas Yu Yevon CAN kill you...though only if you petrify everyone, which no sane player would ever do.
Am I the only one that likes Yu Yevon? His fight was silly, but as a villain goes he was up at the top as far as FF villains go. He brainwashed an entire civilization into serving his whims for a thousand years. Only other ones in the main series I can think of that have done that much as well are Garland/Chaos and Bartandelus.
@thebirthdaybomb But keep in mind, he was also running entirely on instinct. After Zanarkand got WTFpwned, he didn't know how to do anything else except keep the dream world and Sin together. He was actually completely powerless to do anything else.

Very disappointing final battle.....probably in any game I have ever played. Then again, if Nemesis or Penance had been the final boss, there would have been some very pissed off players.
I find it just funny that the only boss you CANNOT lose against in Final Fantasy X has one of the best themes.

The Jecht fight just before Yu Yevon kind of served its purpose of a hardass battle for me, unless you're extremely overpowered, Yu Yevon was a good battle because you still had the OSHIT factor when all 3 of your characters died, but shortly after were revived, it was was alright and a decent cooldown from Jecht and the ending was perfect.

@RobLance07 Eh Sephiroth at the very end was much easier to beat you literally unleash one attack on him and he dies, the only real difference is that Sephiroth can kill you if you just let him beat on you like a bitch.

@x1NeMeSiS1x Actually, if you mean the battle after the battle with Safer Sephiroth, I don't think Sephiroth can actually kill you there, since you automatically counterattack after the first attack, and I don't think the first attack can kill you. Unless there's a trick I don't know about? Whereas Yu Yevon CAN kill you...though only if you petrify everyone, which no sane player would ever do.

Am I the only one that likes Yu Yevon? His fight was silly, but as a villain goes he was up at the top as far as FF villains go. He brainwashed an entire civilization into serving his whims for a thousand years. Only other ones in the main series I can think of that have done that much as well are Garland/Chaos and Bartandelus.

@thebirthdaybomb But keep in mind, he was also running entirely on instinct. After Zanarkand got WTFpwned, he didn't know how to do anything else except keep the dream world and Sin together. He was actually completely powerless to do anything else.

Man.... after i beated jecht i was waiting for yu yevon to transform to like an ultimate monster like boss like nemesis....... so i can tear him apart but i just saw he was like a spider like creature.... i was like "are u serious....." cus i was getting sick of him destroying ppl.. lol XD anyways epic piano. but if he was like an ultimate boss.. then this song will match him lol

Very disappointing final battle.....probably in any game I have ever played. Then again, if Nemesis or Penance had been the final boss, there would have been some very pissed off players.
