  • wicked stuff

  • What time is love came out in 88, Frank de wulfs heartbeat 89. Samples are from MC5`s kick out the jams 1969 -Motorheads ace of spades 1980-Anne clarks our darkness-Anne clarks sleeper in metropolis 1984 Anyone who disagrees with me can suck my left nut !!

  • the original riff melody is from a old rock song...forget what it is...but it is way before KLF

  • @peegtaar1236 can you tell what song is? thanks

  • @peegtaar1236 klf did it but on a different note sequence

  • @peegtaar1236 the riff is from jesus christ superstar

  • Yep, chill the fuck out, listen and enjoy and stop being so anal!

  • Who the fuck cares which one was first? Both version kick ass!

  • Brilliant

  • in belgium we got this version before the klf one :)

  • The KLF did their version first. If they didn't, then how come the picture of the vinyl on this youtube has the song credited tro W Drummond/J Cauty? Drummond and Cauty WERE The KLF!

  • you must read what i write... in BELGIUM the liaisons D version was known in the club's/radio BEFORE the klf song was, i did NOT say that it was made first...

  • Sorry, I stand corrected!

  • KLF

  • KLF sampled this from liasons D alias Frank de Wulf.

    THIS is the original ...

  • Nope. KLF is the original. This sampled them. The credits are on the vinyl.

  • No, Liasons D nicked it from KLF.. This track is featured on the "What Time Is Love? Story", as are the other versions.

But who did KLF nick it from? And where did whoever they nicked it off, nick it from to start with? I think the basic tune goes back many many years!

  • The picture of the vinyl on this youtube has the song credited to W Drummond/J Cauty? Drummond and Cauty WERE The KLF!

  • @arglwyddanfradwrus

The original is from KLF, 'What Time Is Love' (Pure Trance) dates from 1988!

  • @rhythmotronic Yes this defo is derived from "What Time Is Love?" by TheKLF (my fave band), as is obvious as it's credited to Drummond/Cauty who were The KLF.

But, WTIL sounds very much like Judas' Death from Lloyd-Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar play, and also Anne Clark's song "Our Darkness"

  • Hi

who are the authors of the basic music??

  • Comment removed

  • It says W Drummond/J Cauty... the two men who were The KLF!
