  • holden is american owned

  • its funny they show a commodore which is a rebadged opel rekord

  • 0:26 a guy in his underpants with a plastic bag on his head lying face-down on the ground WTF

  • now in todays days its FOOTBALL KEBABS DRAGON TATTS AND TURBO CARS..LOL

  • looks like Brocky at 49 seconds

  • lol afl bahahaha u get a point for missing the goal ???

  • my bad 1992 was the GTRS year :D

  • Man they have some cute guys down there!

  • Right there. That was the Australian culture. Now it's dead and I feel so pissed off that we've been Americanised. This was the Australia that was great. Not the crap that is today

  • @ 0:34 lmao, meat pies + that pic. That person would never get on tv today...

  • mmkay was that peter brock behind the wheel at 0:49 it looked like it =D

  • @EODChaosWo1f Yep that was him. He was in a few Holden adds in those days as he displaced Colin Bond as the No 1 driver for the HDT

  • I LOVE AUSTRALIAAAAAAAAAAA <3333333

  • thats bull shit, everybody knows that chrysler valiants ar the best.

  • @albie67 You said it man...all the way Chrysler.

  • too bad its not full aussie....

footy, meat pie, beer, aussie babes, the roo, holdens and fords

holden and ford are equal... ford=american brand built in aus

holden= aussie made with american engine

  • @JBCProdukshenz,

They were not American engines at the time this ad was made.

All of the 6 cylinder engines used by Holden from 1948 through to 1986 were Australian made Holden engines.

Holden used American made Chevrolet V8s from 1968 through to 1974, but also used Australian made Holden V8s from 1970 through to 1999.

All Australian built Holden's from 1948 to 1968 and 1974 t to 1986 only used Australian designed and manufactured engines.

  • The hell with America and holden, they both suck, and both are evil. When it comes to car manufacturing, the good died young.

Australia is now merely a low ranked state of the USA, we have no individual identity. If you call corporate idolisation of the worst Australia had to offer worthy of praise, you need your head read

GM / GMH is a corrupt company, it has historically and consistantly neglected its responsibility to the very consumers that keep it alive. Supporters are fools, & very ignorant

  • Meatpies, football, commodores you cant go wrong

  • @Highbudget for sure mate: meat pies will give you bowel cancer, [i found a mouses foot in the last 4 & 20 i ever ate]. Football is a great game ruined, and the players are egotistical, self centered, and too often as ignorant as peasants. And GMH Holden is a leach w/ outdated technology, and the parent company corrupt, like the fiasco ruining SAAB. They had to ruin SAAB as corporate policy dictates, undermine the market, force quality builders to the wall, bleed the victim dry and buy it out.

  • @ToxicHolocaust2050 Yeah all meat pies give you bowel cancer. Even the ones that are home made by your mum or whoever with their own ingridients. Whatever man. Meat pies dont have to be baught from a supermarket or deli to be eaten just like every other food in this world. And the rest, yeah at the moment am starting to agree with. But lets just say that my coment was aimed for life in 1981

  • What a ridiculous commercial.. fuck the 80's were strange. Theres no way terrible marketing like this would get approved now..

  • @glennauii Astute mate, the eighties SUCKED. Reagan was in power, and Australia selling out, and preparing for the fire sale of public assets and utilities which followed over the next 2 decades. HOLDEN SUCKS, so too FORD, CRYSLER etc. They had no real competition as their beligerant and ignorant markets gobbled up all the shit they made. A 1990 SAAB technologically SHITS on any GMH of that period. And likewise for many Japanese offerings like Subaru , also AUDI, etc

    GMH/GM = WASTE & CORRUPTION

  • @ToxicHolocaust2050

The globalization idea wasn't bad it was the stupid free market idea that ruined the Australian identity of actually doing anything for it's people...

  • australia the racist nation.

  • @Haruhide86 Good, well stay in japan and don't make a post on these sort of sites!!!!!!

  • @andcom05 I wouldnt want to leave. run along bitch. kangaroos need humping.

  • @Haruhide86 Well thanks for that Tojo, real relevant and mature postings for a car ad????

  • @andcom05 Live with it, steve irwin.

  • @Haruhide86 Live with it, steve irwin. AND YOUR A FUCKING IDIOT SLOPE, LIVE WITH THAT!!!!! Do not write moronic comments on a car posting, enough said.

  • yes lets not forget how we cant do up our fly's.

  • mmmmmmmmmmeatpie

  • Woot! Holdens FTW! Anyone who thinks Australians can't build decent cars can go fuck themselves right in the arse!

  • Gee that brought back memories, what a great ad, the only problem with it is the rotton Bombers theme song at the beginning. Cheers

  • A friend of mine still drives his mother's 1982 Holden.

  • any one who doesnt love australia can just fuck right of back under the rock they came from

  • @ZionistCensorship i am origanaly from south africa, the day i arrived in australia i knew that i will send the rest of my life here, it is the best country on earth and yes i do support australia in all sports and ill defend australia if some dickheads who post shity comments abouit australia ill tell them to go and fuck them selves.

  • @vaniidude good onya cobber.

  • @vaniidude shut up you dirty boer we killed your ppl in the boer war !

  • Every country in modern times take cultural 'icons' to sell their products to their people. Australia is no damn different.

I myself prefer Grid Iron, kebabs, albino alligators and Bentley's but hey, Oz immigration isn't coming to revoke my passport because of my choices LOL! I'll be using this for my Australian Cultural Studies class, thanks for the upload!

P.S. To some Oz folks - you don't have in insult the US to prove how 'Oz' you are...seriously...

  • all the people that just cant get a grip on how good this place is realy need to die or never come here, Holden FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • Interesting how GM used the Chevrolet "Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie & Chevrolet" theme for a different market and make.

  • @Drivermatic GM owns holden

  • @dwiggs77 Yeah funny how we think we have a car industry. Holden is just a GM franchise and Henry Ford wasn't born in Ballarat.

  • @aussietv2 the comment "GM owns holden" was in response to the comment above by Drivematic about the marketing scheme GM used in the same era.i was not implying that holden wasn't a stand alone company,or that it was an American company ..... for that matter GM owns Vauxhall too .........

  • What do we like USA?

We like baseball, Mcdonalds, sueing people and gun violence.

  • @itsdamo1993 replace baseball with Walmart and you got us

  • lol

  • Its just an ad and its tongue in cheek as well - notice the fat guy on the horse when they say meat pies. Lighten up people!

  • ahah yes its very australian of me to get my fly caught :P

  • Nice bit of Australian history. I enjoyed this video. I really hate it when things always seem to turn into a 'my country is better than yours' hate war on the comments. Seriously, Get a life weather you are defending australia or attacking it. Its purely annoying and really stupid. HAVE A MEAT PIE AND A BEER AND GET OVER IT MATE. :)

  • @mememememe1980s well said, think i will have me a meat pie and beer. cheers

  • well i like football, but like a different football aka the one you call soccer, i dont like meat pies, if im eatin a pie i'll eat a curry pie and i dont like holden cars i prefer fancy cars like BMW etc.. but i love this country that people dont care i like these things, so if you dont like Australia please go away and stay away

  • @joshgibson92 .....Curry Pie ... lol faggot ! Do you like wearing womens underpants as well ?

  • @westeh

    cos your funny and all......cunt

  • @joshgibson92 .....oooh hit a nerve you even resorted to calling me a cunt.... Those knickers must be riding high today

  • Aren't Holdens copies of Opel? Because Vauxhall is a copy of Opel and at 0:15 I think that's an Opel

  • @smellytoilet1996 The Commodore was based off the Opel sedans until the end of the VT series in 2006 when the VE came out, which is the first all Australian design since the LH Torana of 74.

  • i love how bogan we are!

  • Don't you Aussies pay any mind to the jerks. You are America's cousins across the Pacific, and we love you.

  • makes sense to me

  • holdens the bloddy best mate

  • kind of a take off on an old Chevy commercial from the '70s:

Baesball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet!!

  • Wow Hammersley! You are a real nice human. I'm sure you have plenty of friends and family that will be sad when you die of ignorance

  • @supertrooper10000

Dirty, filthy lying, vile, putrid Aussie SCUM!!!

  • Australia...

Dirty, filthy, putrid, fucking shit hole full of convict spawn scum...

  • @Hammersley1967 jesus dude, chill out aus isnt that bad loool great country!! the only one that didnt fall into a recession!!!!!!

  • @SuperTamponBandit

    Sorry...

  • LOL at the commercial

great country and a great car!

  • does it make you a non aussie if you dont like holdens?

  • Just a bit, but if you like two out of the four things listed then it makes you Aussie enough! :P

  • "I think you better tell me again?"

  • so making that into a tshirt..

  • lol this commercial makes me smile.

  • 0:50 ahhh good ol peter brock. man i miss the bloke.

  • LOL i had to laugh, at 0:34 where that fattyfatty boomboom was riding that horse for a second i thought they threw in something sexual and dirty i mean cmonnnnn look at what he's wearing, it looked like he was nude FFS lol.

  • ojh god at 0:16 where she's walking on the beach, man they had nicer racks in the 80's :D couldnt be elle macphearson is it?

i could swear that ad shares some similairities with the current go one better ads holden's putting out, with the way the pictures keep showing different people doing everyday things and having a narrator talking up holden. good ad tho.

  • Super is this commercial. I very like her. Nice song. Greetings. :D

  • Looks like this virtual forum was hijacked by some blokes comparing the size of their imaginery cocks...

but they've just cum off looking like a bunch of tossers, haha!

    Very Aussiefied ad!

  • shame this didn't catch on like the vegemite song ahah. classic.

  • But that kind of attitude , although obnoxious and racist or whatever offensivness it exudes, it is still a lack of pretention it is celebrating and that has got to be good.

  • ah..to be a copywriter back then..and an editor to slot in the flesh shots with the TV announcer's voice. And the car, an opel from Germany with a holden badge and an ancient engine. Trevor Barker's mark is awesome at the end. oi oi oi

  • HAHAHA awesome. Love this Ad :)

  • HAHAHAHAAHAHHA good call man

  • To the haters out there sledging Aussies that enjoy this vid.. just stay where you are - its where you belong. This country is too good for the likes of you.

Football, meatpies, Aussies babes and Holden cars ;-) oh yeah!

  • holdens are for bitching pussies just like you lol!

  • @BuoyzToyz aussie aussie aussie

  • @BuoyzToyz Holden Go Better!

  • @BuoyzToyz v8's bahahahaha more like getting ur ass spank by the r32 gtr in 1990 poor aussies couldn't take there bogan holdens losing :(

  • @brownarsepersuasion Holden won Bathurst in 1990, and it was one of the front runners for the entire race, and finished 2nd the following year. It would have been even faster had it not been hobbled by those ridiculous rules of the time! Do some research before making a post, thanks.

  • @BuoyzToyz Well said man, go Holden.

  • Where do you think the Chevs, Fords and Mopars in South Africa, NZ and other parts of the world came from?

Chev SS, Fairmont GT, Chev Kostanta. all Aussie cars exported to Seth Efrica. sometimes a ckd.

Torana's and Holdens were exported around the pacific.

The only muscle cars in NZ are the ones Holden, Ford and Chrysler sold there, or some privately imported US ones.

Ok your a sell out to the gook packs, we get that. take their lack of classics and instantly obsolete style and go.

  • Well the GM muscle cars in NZ were made first at Petone then Trentham. In South Africa they were made at Port Elizabeth. As for Ford in NZ they were made at Wiri and in South Africa at Silvertown. As for Chrysler, they were imported from the USA.

Sell out? gooks? Okay you're a very immature and insecure little bogan who talks crap and lives in delusion and has never been to the Europe he tries to claim. Classics my arse, just ugly crud. Jap cars are the cutting edge face it and grow up loser.

  • What were though?

They were Monaro's called the Chevrolet SS.

And Aussie Falcon GT's called Fairmont GT's.

They also had some homegrown ones like the Perana and the Frirenza.

The NZ ones were Aus designed ones assembled in the Shakey/Sheep isles.

    haha

Japs only have about 3 classic cars that bring big money.

    Toyota 2000 GT. what else?

Jap cars are the cutting edge for people with no soul or culture.

  • Classic. Frankster's been sitting here all this time waiting to reply. What a sad little individual. Soul or culture? your ability to talk absolute bollocks knows no bounds. Holdens are about the most devoid of character and Soul packs of crap on four wheels ever assembled.

And WTF makes you think any of those Holden's were designed in Australia? Hate to break this to you, those bodies were just designs rejected by Chevrolet and Pontiac. As if ockers could achieve anything like that...

  • You know , soul and culture.

Jap cars appeal to boring anal people like you.

    You really have no idea.

Gm and Ford had their own styling studios in Melbourne.

Maybe thats why Holdens are not shared anywhere.

  • HAHAA Yeah I'm the one with no idea. Yeah I think that indulging in racist and nationalistic escapism makes a person boring and anal and not interesting.

I'm feeling safe assuming you are an uncouth, uncultured, boring and anal little bogan who does nothing with his life beyond watching 'footie', drinking beer and pretending to know something about cars to impress his also loser mates.

And 'sharing'? hahaha that's like not wanting to share a poo sandwich.

  • Dont tell us your gastronomic favorites.

    We arent interested.

    pot meet kettle,

Who is the one who came on here simply to pay out on Aussies enjoying some nostalgia.

Im feeling safer that your just another colonial anglo with megalomania, because he works in the UK.

  • well if you can use racism, other people can.

You supposedly man enough to handle it.

    hahaha

A GTHO a Holden is it? such a wealth of auto knowledge you are. Fintastic.

What Jap car goes for a million?

You dont see collectors lining up for Subaru Vortex and Toyota Paseo.

now that you mention it, those are the perfect cars for you.

  • I've just figured it out man, by the way how it thinks the Japs are the ultimate(Even though they've copied most of there engineering from other people, as u mentioned to it) and that a Phase 3 is a Holden. This specimen is definately a GOOK WITH SYPHILLIS, most likely from too much anal sex!!!

Remember that most men living in England are either gay or bisexual, that is factual truth.

  • A really collectable jap car is the Toyota 2000GT. Dont know if they cost a mil, but they do go for a fortune now. Also, the new LFA have a sticker price around the 800k mark. Not quite a mil, but close.

  • @scrfce123 Designed by a German, why it looks ok.

Same guy who did the 240Z

  • It's almost midnight on a Saturday night in Australia and Frankster177 is on the internet fantasizing abut being European.

    WHAT

    A

    LOSER.

  • obviously buddy, if everyone is disagreeing with you, your outruled, thus incorrect.

    Drink bleach, kay thanks.

  • Arr, when we allowed to called ourselves Australian, instead of worrying about what every bloody minority groups got say.

  • Isnt my culture mr Sheepman

    Im a Euro.

People grew up with this stuff.

Let them enjoy it in peace.

Countties who make cars have a car culture.

nz doesnt, No NZ muscle cars are there.

  • LOL now this sad little Australian is pretending to be a European. This is a new low.

Okay then mr really lame jokes. Exactly what is this European country you're going to pretend to come from?

Oh and btw when Holden assembled those crappy Chevrolet muscle cars (pretending they were Australian) a good many of them were assembled in NZ. So technically at the time Holden was as much and NZ company as an Aus company.

Car culture? you talk some serious rubbish, loser.

  • lol Pretend, one of my passports says EU.

    Guess that makes me European

Holden made cars which bore no resemblance to the muscle cars in the US.

They only used Chevrolet engines until 1972.

The Holden muscle cars are unique and the old Holden V8 was unique.

    You really have no idea.

  • Having a European passport makes you European? hahaha I think we can see who has no idea skippy. If you really were European you wouldn't even know what a Holden is. You couldn't answer my question could you? You've got some European grandparent, you've clearly never lived in any European nation evident by just how clueless you are.

All those Holdens had different where those (uglier) body shapes. All the systems were Chevy systems.

And yes, they were crap cars like all Holdens.

  • Having a Euro passport makes me superior to u, at any rate.

Just another tosser anglo working in Britain.

None of the systems were Chev systems you nong.

Only the v8's were until the holden 253 and 308 were created.

If you dont know be quiet,

  • uhhhh, Australians are Europeans....

    so he isn't pretending.....

you sort of look like an idiot now, hey.....

  • Hahaha yeah I look like an idiot. So Australia is in Europe being situated south of Indonesia and New Guinea?

Australia is an offshoot of the former British Empire and an Anglo-Saxon colonial society. It is in no way European in its values, attitudes, character, etc. There is very little European about it beyond some fringe cuisine introduced post war.If you think otherwise then you must either have a low IQ or have sanity issues.

  • someone has heard of Wikipedia...

And Australians descending from Europeans is correct, Europeans are the ones that came to Australia, reproduced, then called them selves Australians, I'm not geographically retarded, I know where my country is situated.

The majority of white Australian people can relate back to there ancestors being from European countries.

  • For starter's i never requested your address RUFI, i was discussing it with my countryman. I tell u what, i really like this cyber bullying stuff, it really does educate people. Just give it a rest, your worse than a broken record!!!

  • Well you asked someone to get my address. I'll happily give it to you. And you're dumb enough to look me up you'll get something much worse than cyber bullying back from me convict.

I'll say what I want. It is after all the factual truth. If you don't like it F-off and stop replying.

  • U again? Oh shit i'm shaking. You're yet another modern day idiot who surf's the net, get a life and some maturity, and you will feel better!

  • dude, the materials were changed for the m4 carbine, barrel was made thicker and the plactic changed to zytel

  • Where are you from?

  • :-))

    watch?v=CgjtSilW8yM

  • URL doesn't work hoss.

  • Search for:

holden commodore - worst car crash test

  • its 4 to 5 star

  • Amazing.

Cant youlet people enjoy some of the culture they grew up with?

Do you have to be that pathetic?

  • the styre rifle brand utilised my many countries army is made designed and sold in australia

  • Hahaha bullshit!!!!

    Are you really this ignorant?

Steyr (or Steyr-Mannichler) is an AUSTRIAN manufacturer. The rifle is named the Steyr AUG, AUG for Armee Universal Gewehr, what lingo is that? Some of yours were made UNDER LICENCE at Lithgow. It was designed in Austria for the Austrian army, hence the large trigger guard for the gloved alpine troops. Australia and NZ adopted it because they couldn't afford the Armalite AR-15 based rifles (i.e the M-16) and the British SA-80 wasn't up to snuff.

  • no dude, australia designed it, and the m16 was one of the most poorly designed rifles in history, it over complicated parts and plastic stock make it usless for any half decent army. Australian Commandoes and SAS use the m4 carbine along side the Steyr and M-60. Do some study then bithc, may i ask where you're from?

  • U carry on like the office working Queer that you are, and then you offer your address to me?YOUR A FUCKING POOFTER!

And if anyone' s looked stupid here, it's you. U like going to war with everybody about Holden all the time, well good on ya, RUFINNO.

I just love how u come out with all these abbreviations all the time, LOL OMFG ARGHA and ABCDEF and G. Spoken like a true queer whom spent to much time in an office and dosen't know anything about cars! Just sit back and watch the show unfold.

  • Hmmm, you sound so butch. You turn me on!

  • I presume your trying to be funny? But i'm responding to yet another Y GEN IMBECILE who likes making a fool of himself!

If you want to make imput here, just send the RESIDENT POOFTER of this upload a good Aussie message, thanks.

  • All countries with a car industry protect their companies.

its all par for the course.

If Your country had any industry youd think the same.

But its a flyshit spec in world terms.

lol japs advanced technology, who did they copy it off. the Euros and Yanks.

Nothings as bad as sell outs.

  • Actually I wrote the above slightly wrong, V-TEC ain't standard.

I can't see how the Japanese could have 'copied' any technology from the Yanks and Euros than your crappy cars. It's not as though you clowns could ever come up with anything. Especially considering every single Holden mark has been another GM car since 1980 an OPEL or Vauxhall) with another badge with the exception of those pathetic HSV's (which no other GM company would waste its time developing).

  • And finally, what's this 'sell out' supposed to mean? oh I get it, it' like you calling oriental cars 'gook packs'. Hilarious and pathetic. Everyone point and laugh at the silly little backward ocker. Get with the 20TH century sheesh.

I wonder if you realise the designers of Aussie Ford's high volume engine were all Japanese outsourced from Mazda?

I know one thing that never sells out, the latest model of Holden hahaha.

  • You stupid fuck, im European lol

Everyone point and laugh at you you mean.

The 4 litre is a direct development of the original falcon motor.

The focus motor is the duratec.

Funny how many years has the commodore been top selling car. wuite a few now. youre stats are as bad .

Euros invented variable valve timing you dill. and abs.

Japanese just copy and put an ashtray and a Euro sounding name on it.

  • Whats new zealand ever made?

    Anything car wise.?

England doesnt have any english owned car companies left.

All owned by the Germans, Indians and Yanks

  • LOL Frankster as I've already mentioned just like Australia NZ used to assemble b-grade Vauxhall's and OPEL's and put a holden badge on them. Then the free electricity stopped and the left. NZ also used to assemble Toyota's and Isuzu's before the protections stopped. Sadly the Aussie taxpayer still carries this rubbish company.

Holden's no more an Australian owned car company than Vauxhall's an English owned car company.

  • yet you pay exorbitant prices for second hand gook packs.

10 year old civics. brilliant, not.

How can it be a rubbish company, with the history and culture that it has.

Aus has more auto culture than the whole of NZ altogether.

  • oi fuckwit i was agreeing with hsv clubby about his comment that your a tool not saying that they are the most exported vehicle i said the commodore in general is the most exported vehicle anyway im over this fuck off and get a life

  • I'm telling u right now that your wasting your time responding to this freak. If ya like, i reckon u, me, and clubby go find the address of this Drug Fucked Poofter and give it a good serve.

  • truekiwijoker your a fuckhead and exactly hsv clubby toyota sell more cars overall holdens one model has outsold every other major model of each car brand for 13 years and not to mention being the most exported car in the world cunts might think holdens are shit but the facts speak for themselves

  • OMFG!!! this is hilarious. Probably the funniest thing I've read all week.

    How ignorant can you get?

Do you actually understand that there is world beyond Australia?

The most exported car in the world? the HSV clubby? ARGHAHAHAHA!!!!

I thought I'd come across some stupid Australians in my time but this one takes the biscuit.

  • truekiwijoker Another fuckwit who has no idea! Tell ya what mate, keep driving the shit youre in and keep your unresearched opinions to yourself. Toyota sells more cars overall, Commodore is the biggest selling car for more than ten years running. What does that tell you you moron? Fuck off.

  • Holden Commodore is the best selling car...

    ...in one country.

This one country with less than 30 million people.

And why? because people think it is made in that country... and because they can't imagine buying anything different (even though they're better).

The fact is the Holden Commodore is only available in one other country (of only 4 million people)... where its market share is ever dwindling.

    Fly poo.

  • It's great how your response has no relevance to my last posting, because that proves u know nothing of Australia or Bathurst.

And of course your Toyota figures will always be different from me and everyone else's, just do yourself a favour and stop posting on this video.

I think i'm German and i come from Adelaide? U really are running out of shit to say, at least in this country we don't speak english with an impediment that's mocked by everybody the world over.

  • go wipe the sand out off your vagina, for fucks sake if holden was realy doing more harm than good to our economy the government would cease giving them money (the moneys for expansion& upgrade- not for keeping them in business by the way) and gm would be shutting the doors tomorrow so stop talking out your arse and go suck a dick

  • Thanks for that dude, tell that new zealand Fucknuckle because it dosen't know any better and it can't keep it's hole closed!

  • Classic. It's so plain to see I've run rings around your bogan arse.

Face it and stop the delusions, you're only making yourself look stupid and Holdens are and always have been shit cars.

  • Yea the frigging Holden car ...... Looks like a Meat Pie, drives like a Kangaroo and is about as reliable as Australian football.

  • lol good call man.

  • TOM WALKINSHAW, JEFF ALLAM, ALAIN MENU, AHMIN HAHNE, JEFF ALLAM, ROBERTO RAVAGLIA, JOHNNY CECCOTTO, JOHN FITZPATRICK, SAM POSEY, JOHN ANDRETTI, ROLAND RATZENBERGER, KLAUS NIEDWIEDZ, ANDY ROUSE, JOHN CLELAND, is that enough for ya pal. And last but not least, about half the cars that competed in the 79 trial WERE EUROPEAN!

  • Ah, Maxie Walker, Peter Brock and, of course, Trevor Barker... what memories.

  • 0:34, what the fuck is that?

  • While not being anything terribly out of the box, they were fairly solid cars. The parents had a 1980 VC for 22 years. It spent most of its life driving on country roads of various standards, over grids and through gravel bottomed creek crossings. It was still going strong the day it retired. They were tested in various types of terrain (including the outback) and held up fairly well. This was after some significant design changes to the original Opel model.

  • Well hello Tony, and thankyou very much for making this posting. At last i finally have someone to justify my info on the early Commodores. And best of all, someone who has had first hand experience with that particular model!!!

It is great to show some proof to all those ignorant knockers out there, especially all those EX-PAT KIWI'S who just don't FUCKING KNOW!

Oh but that's right, i remember, this is all just typical round the barbeque ocker talk.

  • If you look after and give proper service to almost ANY car you can get 22 years of service. The mother of a joker I knew in NZ still drove a 1976 Skoda and it was i excellent condition. There's even some people with well preserved LADA's and Trabant's around.

  • You really can't quit can ya! You are as thick as they come and once again i can tell by your response to the 79 Repco Trial, as u admitted, that you have no fucking idea on what your saying.

U really must have to much maori in ya, which explains how ignorant and stupid u are. And i'm not the one getting sensitive here,

because i'm not the one who keeps responding with factless ingnorant shit!

I'm European background not an anglo interbred speer chucker like yourself.

  • But i'm easy, if your want to keep going we'll keep going eh. And again real intelligent talk by comparing Toyota's sales with Holden's, when Holden is a subsidiry compared to an international company. Why don't u compare it to Gm's overall sales, ignoramous? Gm might be recovering from financial crisis but it still managed to outsell Toyota last year, still making it the world's BIGGEST CAR COMPANY! Yes, back to the unknown Bathurst 1000 again.

  • Just because u know fuckall about the race and race drivers in general, here's a continuation of REPUTABLE DRIVER'S WHO HAVE COMPETED THERE- ALLAN GRICE, CRAIG LOUNDES, GARTH TANDER, MARCOS AMBROSE( WHO NOW COMPETES IN THAT MOST PEOPLE KNOW NASCAR SERIES!), DICK JOHNSON, KEVIN BARTLETT, JIM RICHARDS( He's a kiwi by the way), ROBBIE FRANCIEVIC( Oh look, another one), NEVILLE CRICHTON(!!!!!), GREGG HANSFORD, RUSSELL INGALL. The Internationals that eveyone but u has heard of - WIN PERCY, JACKY ICKX

  • You are awesome . I like what you say !

  • yeah they are nowhere as good as those kiwi cars , dipshit

  • Who are u talking to, and what car's do the kiwi's make?

  • so in future i strongly suggest that u start looking up the Holden and Bathurst 1000 sites, and give yourself an education(u really need one) on the Australian industry and it's motorsport!

Because if u don't like copping these sort of responses, Fuckoff Youtube then, and don't write any more shit, AMEN.

    P.S.

Here is a list of REPUTABLE DRIVER'

S whom went to the Bathurst Unknown 1000- PETER BROCK ALLAN MOFFAT MARK SKAIFE

  • Despite high fuel prices and the recession. U obviously have never lived in Australia, have ya! The majority of our roads are rough, regardless of suburbia. Have u heard of the 1979 Round Australia Trial numbnuts? It was a big road rally run around the whole country, with most of the stages being run on rough unsealed roads. The Holden Dealer Team came home 1-2-3 out of field of hundreds, with the Commodores handling the knocks quite well despite hitting potholes and tree stumps along the way.

  • U really are an ignorant ass who dose'nt know when to quit! I can just tell how ignorant and illiterate of Australia u are by your Fucknuckle comment's on Bathurst and when you don't believe that the suspension on the Opel test models fell off. YES IT DID. I will keep telling your dumb kiwi self and i will say this very slowly for you,- The Commodore does not survive on subsidies, it survives because it is still the top selling car in australia and it's big export market!!!

  • Give me a Dato 120Y anyday!!

  • with the majority of it's Statesman and Caprice production(whats a Statesman or Caprice???) being shipped to the Middle East. If it wasn't for Holden exports, NZ would'nt have anything decent to drive.

And Bathurst is a well known race that has featured international drivers, and is a popular pick in England who had many of it's drivers race during the GroupA category.

So in future get the facts and some background car knowledge of Australia, or DON'T BOTHER POSTING YOUR SHIT ON YOUTUBE!!!

  • on the Opel version the front end suspension fell on the road, along with other chassis faults. Therefor the engineers had to strengthen those area's to make the car suitable to our conditions. That's what AUSTRALIAN STANDARD'S REFER'S TO, don't confuse it with the expensive features and the high panel gap quality the German's have had on their top level models!

And when has Holden ever been unheard of past NZ, what the Fuck has NZ ever produced? Holden still has a thriving export market
