Foxes are typically reclusive animals and the poster above is right, they are usually afraid of people.

I have a feeling he/she didn't know what to do, cover was too far away to make a break for it so he/she just milled around trying to see what "move" the vehicle would make.

Interesting video. I remember foxes use to be so afraid of people, and that was how nature always was. But things are changing these days because humans are always invading and destroying other animals territories they have nowhere to go but to get use to humans. Sorry, I went off topic but I had to rant. :D

actually if you come across an animal in that situation who hasn't had ANY contact with humans they tend to be quite curious and not afraid at all. it's only once they have contact that they get either agressive or afraid.

this fox video was shot on an ice road in the tundra in the arctic. it was a total fluke to get a video like this. the truck was moving quite slowly as well so that the fox wouldn't get disturbed at all!
