@GamersName you wouldn't need them to fall down if they didn't attach to em would you? like if you didn't have any blocks beneth the portcullis then couldn't the pistons just pull the fences back up? or do the fences detach themselves no matter what?

uhm this isnt really 5 by 7 because then the gravel should be pushed up 5 blocks which is impossible and it isnt really compact either i'll post a very compact 3 by 6 gate and a 4 by 6 gate which is as compact as this one
