  • He's been there for almost thirty years. When he bought his property most of the turbines were dead. Then they managed to get some money (a good portion from state and federal incentives) and started getting the machines back on line.

  • My friend lives right next to these monstrosities. Its so loud he might as well have moved next door to an airport.

  • @AynManRand why would you move next door to the worlds largest wind turbine farm? They have been in this area for the past >30 years?

  • @AynManRand Your friend or you could live by an oil refinery or 30 miles away and still suffer the effects of contaminated water. You know like the ones they have in L.A. and LA called cancer row? Believe me I've seen them and they are a mess. Fortunately, CA is doing something about them.

  • @FreeMTrider Or I could work at a refinery that has existed for 100 years which freed thousands from starvation. Cancer row for 11 million people? All of which will live into their 70's? Youd prefer that we all die of abscesses and impacted teeth in our 30's. You are childlike in your ingratitude and lack of reasoning.
