Also, as % of GDP, if you take what the USA spends on healthcare (through the private sector) and add it to what it spends on taxes, the USA pays MORE THAN EUROPE (which pays for healthcare through taxation).

Lack of regulation allowed this burst but all this spending to stimulate isn't helping either. Reagan allowed competition which brought us endless amounts of innovations but lacked the regulation which we know now is a mistake. You can't find all negative in his policy. It is disguised as "defense of commerce" but the active Patriot interpretation of this bill is with another false flag attack it will be used to allow the govt to take control of at least some portions of the internet, perhaps such as sharing sites like this.
