pac10 does not need a conference championship game because there are 10 team in the conferences, each team plays 9 aka ALL conference opponents. each team plays each other head to head in a season.

big ten on the other hand needs one because they have 11 teams and each team only plays 8 conference games.. not every team will play each in other in the big ten each season.

Its not going to be cold in the shoe in September. But I think with starting a true freshman USC may have just given OSU the win they need to get back over the top. If Terrell Pryor can get it going and the Bucks D plays well it could be very interesting.

It would be a good game, but they would still win. PSU lost all of there good receivers, so they would have to keep it on the ground, and that just wont work against the best D in the country. And let me answer the next comment you post. THE FRONT 7 IS STILL GREAT and the D line is even better, and the LBs are very fast and good tacklers. Oh, and to go along with that, the best Safety in the whole damn country is back there too.

4 instance,Mark Sanchez is a better pro-prospect,but Patt White is a better college QB,the only QB in NCAA history to win 4 bowl games,& he's the leading rusher amongst QBs and during his time at WVU, they never had a top 10 recruiting class. sanchez played with 3 #1 RB recruits,& all of his receivers were ranked in the top 5 of their classes,arguably the best defense USC's ever seen,& not to mention an O-Line that gave him hours to throw,he only pulled off 14 victories over 3 years of school

Russell Sheppard can't really play in a traditional pro-style offense. At time, he can throw, but he's a a runner primarily. Shepperd, at 6'1" also doesn't have the desirable height for a Quarterback. I prefer Matt Barkley, or a Garrett Gilbert 30 pounds heavier.

Matt Barkley is gonna be great at USC. He looks like a Carson Palmer clone. Great arm accuracy and strength. Needs to improve vision but im nit picking now. Will improve in USC's West Coast offense. O and by the way, Garrett Gilbert may have the stats, but ive seen him play, and Matt Barkley looks like a better college prospect to me. All of the passing plays Gilbert runs are only roll-outs. None of which tell him to take a five step drop and read the defense. I like Matt more.
