I saw a video about the olympic trials with pictures and in both Pictures of Jordan she has her toungue sticking out. My sister is a great cross country runner and all the pictures of her running her tongue is sticking out too so I showed her this and told her it was a sign of greatness and she will be as good as Jordan Hasay one day.
It was Oregon's Nicole Blood who pulled out of the 1500 with back spasms. Jordan, sitting in 31st in a 30-girl race, suddenly got her shot. She climbed the ladder to 10th in the final, setting a national HS record (4:14.5) along the way. Stanford & Oregon are probably near the top of her list of choices of where sign during this academic year. Oregon will likely be the NCAA champs, both men & women, this fall in XC. But the prospect of Hasay joining the team next year dwarfs even that prospect!
I <3 her!! And I knew her (she and I lived in the same town! SLO)! She was so nice and not stuck up at all! Go Jordan goo!! :))
