Yes I do like the my Traditional better than any of the reissues I've owned. I've owned about 6 different reissue guitars and could not really bond with any of them like my Traditional. But I had to play about 7 different Traditional's before landing the right one. Listen to the tone I'm getting from my Traditional in the Red House clip I just posted at the Blues Fest. WB Firewater pickups are what I use.

Get and Gibson Les Paul Traditional, thats what I have now and it feels better and sounds better, and cheaper.

@58lespaulman dude it dosent really sound better. the only reason why VOS guitars r more expensive is because only 1 person makes them and they have the exact specs as the originl Vos ginal les paul

hey 58lespaulman, i was looking into getting a 1958 vos but the only thing that is holding me back is the fact that the necks are thicker and i have small/average sized hands...what do you think?

Kustom amps are some of the most underrated gear out there, and it's sad, because they sound GREAT! I'm building a rig right now with two Vintage Kustom 4-12 cabs with the tuck and roll covering, and they are some of the best sounding cabs I've plugged into in a while. Great video!

the tone on that kustom is kinda muddy but thats partly the mic it drowns out the bite but the playings good

hi i own a coupe 36 as well. When you crank the master and the volume, do you get a terrible ocean noise?? Cuz its annoying as hell

Hehe... I own one too, but I sometimes get the volume going louder/softer just a very little. No one notices it but me it seems but it drives me nuts.

Nice amp though, as long as it doesn't act up like that.

I never tried cranking both volumes... how does that sound when the "ocean" isn't heard from. :)

It sounds good when not making the noise. But sadly all of a sudden, both my channels sound very thin, fizzy, and airy and its a little upsetting.  Maybe i need new tubes.

What u think? I Currently have JJ's in all positions and theyre not that old

Those Kustom are really fuckin' great. I only got a 16 watt Kustom with an 8" speaker. It sounds really great at home. Being played with a 4x12" box it's really amazing. And it's only 16 watt transistor!!
