I had bought tickets for the night before and loved the show. My first ever U2 show. Went down the second night and scalped seats for show #2. Ended up being directly to the right of the stage, about 4 rows from the front. A great time. This was the first time I ever heard Bad live. I've seen them 17 times total and only heard Bad 3 times (DC 1992, Houston 2001, DC 2005).

this was the second of two nights in DC and there was an amazing presence in the air about U2 and this tour. Fox tv (in the USA) taped both this show and one a couple days later in New York. The new york show was used for their November 1992 television broadcast and the DC show was shelved for years until someone leaked it... THANKFULLY!

oh, I wasn't tackled that time (though I DID get tackled trying to repeat this move 3 months later in vegas...still trying to get footage of that show). They took me backstage, took my picture and then kicked me out back. After spending some time in the food tent, I was kicked out to the parking lot. Fortunately a couple drunks got in a fight and when security went to break that up I slipped back inside to finish the show!
