When you contrast people like Webb to Allen, it makes you realize that America is a deeply divided country and that eventually we may have another civil war right here in America to resolve the ongoing battle between intelligence and ignorance. As long as America allows superstitious uneducated and toothless hillbillies the right to vote, it will be a challenge to get good men like Jim Webb elected.

I've never seen a patriot until I saw Jim Webb... check out Bill Clintons speech the night before election day 06 for Webb. And for an example of the mockery our democracy has become, check out the the smear campaign the GOP set for him. They tried to paint him as sexist, violent, racist, gay and everything else they thought voters wouldn't like... I'm glad the people got something right by making him senator. Hopefully, he'll be president someday.
