@JYNaRaNlove You've got it! These are American terms. Australia and Europe use the same words for different stitches. You can do a google search for conversion charts if you have a British or AU pattern.
@TiffanylovesRP You CAN do just one stitch, but you are limiting yourself. The ones I show are the basics and Most stitch patterns are usually made up of these basic stitches or variations thereof. To make a scarf, you can use any or all of the stitches I demonstrate. I included these stitches so the viewer can practice and learn all of the basics.
lol i was thinking the same thing! Also, great videos, these are so helpful to me! I really appreciate it. I just bought my first crochet hook today after learning to knit a week and a half ago and am so thrilled to be successfully crocheting already! Thanks again!
You are amazing. Thank you so much for making everything so easy to understand and do! You are by far the best teacher I've found.

Do you have to do double crochet? Or is it ok to just do single crochet and half-double crochet

I am just wondering why in SC do you not YO BEFORE you go through the hole and in DC and DHC you do YO BEFORE you go through the hole??

@Danandvikki1 The YO adds a loop to make the stitch taller.

@Bethintx1 what is YO
Lovemegoofy 1 year ago
@Lovemegoofy YO is yarn over. Meaning wrap the yarn over the hook back to front.
