6um9bobo: Im recording the signal direct out of my hd500 using the SPDIF output. Modellers in general dont sound so hot through traditional guitar amps because your amp is already doing alot of 'tonal sculpting'. Alot of guys using modellers live use FRFR (Full Range Flat Response) setups such as keyboard amps or portable PA setups such as the QSC k10. I myself use a Traynor K4 for live sound reproduction at gigs. If you just want effects and not amp modelling, check out Line 6's M Series FX.
Great job, folks! I just have a question. You´re playing live into the mix through a pod HD500. I am a huge fan of VAlve amplification, I own a Hughes and Kettner Duotone amp, but I just want to buy a versitile multi FX unit for it. Would the hd500 the best for it, has it got dymaics, doesn´t it kill the sound of the amp? THX for help
