  • Is it possible to do the same thing with 4x4x4 and lubricate it that way?

  • DO NOT EVER DO THIS WITH RUBIK'S, IT WILL COMPLETELY MESS YOUR CUBE UP!

  • The silicone you use causes cancer. i know because my uncle read the back and found it out then took it away :( my cubes suck now

  • will it make your cube pieces stick together

  • @thomasbomvu not if you work it in right after you spray

  • great! :D

  • Alright. I am gonna try this with some Jig-a-loo!

  • you sound a bit nerdy no offence.

  • @iFunkeh He's talking about solving a fucking 5x5 Rubik's cube. Were you expecting p. diddy to show us to do this?

  • how could I lube my cube if I lost the red "thing" (don't know what it is called..)

  • you could use those really thin red straws for stiring coffee or just take that red "thing" off another can

  • ok thanks :D

  • ill do this with my newer 3x3x3

  • cool

  • eastsheens can be lubbed?? awesome :D

  • i've ordered a rubik's 2x2 ice, will the spray make it look like shit?

  • im not sure, I don't think so but...

  • k thanks (:

  • No it won't make any difference.

  • I did this on my eastsheen 5x5 but it didn't seem to evaporate and make the thin white layer of lube that it did on all my other cubes. It was sort of sticky even after abut an hour and a half so i wiped it all of and was back at original settings any suggestions, and do you recommend using jig-a-loo on it? Thanks

  • did u use CRS heavy duty silicon spray? I've never used jigaloo, but I hear its really good.

  • Yeah I did use crc heavy duty silicone, the one from walmart, I have used jig-a-loo on my es 4x4 and it worked fine, but if you have any advice it would be nice to hear it. Thanks anyways jsut searchin for ways to make it better, lol.

  • I don't sorry, I have never heard of that happening.

  • Ok well i guess I'll try to use jig-a-loo, I'll let you know how that goes, maybe it was because i sprayed the silicone outside in like 80 or 90 degree weather, but i don't know.

  • Can you also use this lubrication method for V-cubes?

    Send a PM if possible.

  • I never lubricated mine.

  • Eastsheens are so smooth already, when i lubed mine it made it slower, because all it did was increase surface area of the pieces. Maybe it will be better if i loosen the screws a bit?

  • yea, loosen the screws. i bought 2 eastsheen 4x4x4's and i lubed one, then loosened the screws for the other. the one that i loosened the screws for worked a lot better and was much smoother. when u loosen the screws, be careful not to loosen too much, other wise it will fall apart. =D

  • Thanks! =D

  • that happend to me :P

  • is it ok to use jigaloo?

  • yep.

  • jig a loo is an awesome lubricant!

  • buy it at walmart ;)

dont use vaseline it eats away the plastic

    its petrolium-based

  • wat if u dont have silicon

  • you talk funny

  • hey plurple i just got silicone today and its the exact same as your wat a coincidence(spelled it wrong) and my 3x3 was fast instantly i guess cuz i had wd 40 in it but hey mines really fast now it brought my times down by 30 seconds!! silicone FTW!!!

  • you speak the truth lol.

  • lol i just ordered a eastsheen 4x4 and a tiled megaminx!!

  • cool.

  • whats your fastest 3x3 time?

  • look on my channel it has all of my records.

  • should i do it on all the sides or just one side and work it around?

  • all the sides

  • so you sure you have no xbox 360?

  • for the last time yes I'm sure lol.

  • Thanks a ton, my 5x5 Rubik's Brand moves like a dream now

  • if its too fast, doesnt it lock up much more easly?

  • not sure.

  • thanks

  • I need help cos i tried lubing my eastsheen 4x4 and i popped out two edges and sprayed the lube right in there, and spun it around so that i'd lubed like one layer, then i did it to the other side, the opposite later. Then while i was working it in it just broke and fell apart and the same thing happened when i did it to my eastsheen 5x5 only hours later. The screw that attaches to the centre piece completely broke. Why is my silicone breaking my cubes? Do i need to use the straw?

  • hmm, I really don't know what kind of silicon did you use?

  • i use '5 star' "amazing silicone spray"

it doesnt specify details like percentage of silicone or anything so i dunno. But i used it on my rubik's brand 3x3 and it worked wonders.

  • Um i use silicone oil will that do?

and how did you make your top layer move like that my top layers suck

  • it should work, you just have to work it in for awile.

  • yeah thanks dude but will the silicone oil dry or will it be messy like it is for a while? please respond thanks

  • it will, dry, you want to work it in there as much as yyou can.

  • thanks. this is much easier than taking it apart

  • glad I could help!

  • guys, i lubed my cube 5x5 w/ crc heavy duty silicon, it is a rubik's brand. Problem now is that so edge pieces are "stuck" to the center pieces, and I can only turn 2 sides, PLz HELP!

  • rofl ass whole

    whole lol...

  • can you use wd-40?plese reply!!!!

  • no, Over time it will eat away at your cube and destroy it.

  • plus that stuff is for metal

  • does this lubing method also work for v-cube 5 because i dont wanna ruin it

  • not sure, i don't have one.

  • duz nasal spray work to?

  • Are you crazy?

  • i take out the middle edge piece like how your would do it on the 3x3x3 on my eastsheen

  • Eastsheen? Wouldn't that break the whole thing..?

  • no i tried it. but it only works on the 5x5x5

  • i just received a new es 5x5 and it's REALLY tight! how do i first loosen it up before even lubing it? i know how do do this with the 4x4 but i'm affraid to dissassemble the 5x5

plz help! explain step by step how to loosen the 5x5!

  • is it rubiks or eastsheen? wat i would do is solve it lots of times till it lossens up, then put lube in it, it'll be slow at first but just mix it in.

  • eastsheen dont need lube. I have no without lube. Works fine already. I just hate rubiks 5x5x5. I broke 3 of them already

  • where do you get the eastsheens from

  • nice... no prying out pices

  • yo jimbojr12345... you can lube eastsheens:P

  • you can but itz kinda retarded cuz there fast outa the box

  • why, it only makes them better

  • it fucked my old one up...its very sticky and it falls apart a lot...then i got a new one and its been fine without lube

  • you probley just put way to much on. one i put it on mone it went twice as fast.

  • Wow that was quick.
