I Watched The manny Pac fight With Shorty At Sidney Torres House With Kid Rock Night Before Jazz Fest Trombone Shorty Is a True Talent and Not Down With The Drugs and Alcohol Truly Proud To Call Shorty Natuaully N"awlins as Frank Would say
Saw him at the Tampa/St. Pete music Fest this past April. He was great !!!! Can't wait to see him again. He made me even a bigger fan, Saw him another time about 3 years ago in Billings Montana and fell in love with his music. He stold the show then and hands down the best At the Tampa show !!!!
THIS GUY WAS BORN TO DO THIS NOTHING CAN STOP HIM , NO HATER NO DISLIKES , HE IS JUST PLAYING REAL MUSIC FROM THE SOUL CARRYING ON HISTORY .....AMERICAN HISTORY , NOT JUST BLACK HISTORY BUT THAT TOO SO BEAUTIFULLY .....LONG LIVE THIS GUY .....TROMBONE SHORTY YOU ARE SO SMOOTH...
DAMN!! I discovered this guy about 15 minutes ago and I need to find out more! I love the trombone, an underappreciated instrument, and heard him play the hell out of it on the Jeff Beck Les Paul tribute. Thank God for Youtube. Now I know he plays the hell out of the trumpet and probably every other instrument he picks up. I only hope some day I'll get to see him live. Just when you despair that today's music sucks, you realize that great music is out there, you just have to seek it out.
what i like about Shorty, is that, he started at the bottom and worked his way up to the top this shows that "you can do anything if you belive you can and push your self" keep on pushing on Shorty!
@macree01 think again sir, this man has some serious ability- Conrad is great, I agree, but to say he would "own this poor fellow" is ignorant at best.
Trombone Shorty is my new hero. I saw him at the French Quarter Festival. It changed my life. I play trumpet but I am going to learn trombone too now. Thank you, Trombone Shorty.
This motherfucker is so tight and raw, it actually gives me hope for mankind seeing as how so much doo-doo is going on. Not to mention inspiring my own pipe dreams. x-D

Saw him with James Burton and T. Graham Brown at Jazzfest in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Amazing, especially up front where I was. At one point all three got on stage and just killed it. Such a great performer.
My daughter goes to one of the same music schools he started out at. I can only hope that developes her talent the way he has. He is truely inspiring to the younger kids.
This band is outstanding live. They came to lawrence ks and I had the opportunity to see them. Ever happens take the time to see that show, it's worth it.
i saw this dude for the first time at Tipitina's uptown in n.o recently(sept 08) and this dude is the TRUTH! Great performer, great musician and he overall just gave a great show. His band is awesome also.
Not to compare musicians but good as he may be but there's another trombone player that real blow him out the water and he happens to be only two years younger then him
he's Wycliffe Gordon's son and he goes to Oberlin conservatory and he's already Robin Eubanks top trombone student when he was only a freshman a couple years back
i saw troy when he came and did a festival for MBB 2 years ago, i got a singed CD and the experiance of seeing them play many gigs through at the period of time they were there!
