They did say it was possible. They said it was coming if we did not take the necessary precautions. We did and it was contained fairly quickly. If we took the Republican/conservative approach of just letting it run its course, it would have become a full-blown pandemic killing millions.

Also, as you said, it is supposed to return later this year in a stronger form that could spread much faster and better.

I miss your constant videos. It does not have to be daily, but once or twice a week. :)

The media's job is not to warn us of pandemics; their job is to sell soap. If a pandemic actually wipes out 1/3 of the population, it only matters to them if it's the 1/3 that watches their show/reads their paper. Now, watch out, or the Flying Pig Disease will get you!
