I think that the BBC or whatever didn't include the 'Fade' effect because he had just installed the new dematerilization circuit. (That's just my theory)
@music4ever I think it's to do with costs. This story has ablot of different scenes in lots of places. So to cut costs they do with out the demat effect.
Whoops, forgot the de-materialization effect at 4:01. Not the first time. When the Doctor tries to make off with his console at the end of Inferno, it vanishes similarly.
