Respond to this video...Also, if you would, back up your claims with Scripture please, especially, "To show a handsome Jesus is against the truth , the Bible , and Gods principle of inward reality and beauty..."
Philippians 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (April 21) is Maundy Thursday. This passage is usually read as a New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) on this day. May we all love one another as Jesus commanded us to do on this day. Paul understood. Do we?
@mkl62 I sincerely hope and pray that you come out of that "church," for it is nothing of Christ. May God bless you and open your eyes to the truth of His Word.
@stack45ny I know the truth of Jesus' word. Last night was Good Friday. Our pastor's sermon was entitled "Who Is Responsible?" In other words, who was really responsible for Jesus going to the Cross? There was political correctness even back then. And he was anything but politically correct. That's what got him killed.
@mkl62 John 10:17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
Jesus came here to give His life, to do the will of His Father in the redemption of man. Nothing "got Him killed." Please meditate on these verses and ask God to show you His truth; your very salvation is at hand. God bless you.
