Did it tear up the cylinder? Like I said, take the cylinder off, find the rings out of the bottom end, and get a new cylinder and rebuild it.

all you guys are fucking retarded. and by piston skirt did you mean rings? if you lost a ring and thats it you rip off the cylinder and go into bottom end and find it, the rebuild your top end while your at it, and everyone lets stop being dicks. oh and if your ever gonna get a new bike, get a liquid cooled, waaay better/

@zachd242 dude no it started smoking like a chimney and died we got it home tore it apart and the piston skirt had cracked off and fell somewhere so it was double fucked.

first you should tip the bike upwords to drain it out then try starting it with the kick start and electric at the same time non stop for like a minute then give it a break then do it again

The YZ which you are riding with (if i'm correct) are 2strokes, right? Try downloading a manual and it shouldn't be too hard ;-)

yeah he hasnt got it fixed even now but the estimate was with labor and parts $400 but we will probably end up doing it ourselfs one day
