  • no offence but your pony is more jumper than hunter jsyk

  • ok correct me if i am wrong but in hunter/jumpers isn't it judge on getting the course done the fastest..??? I think she is fine and riding very nice.

  • Good thing not all Jumper riders do this!!!

  • Your horse makes it look effortless!

  • All I can say ia holy shit tour freaking amazing!

  • i love mindless elf indulgence and i love horseback riding! so the two combine perfectly:) great video

  • Great pony! It seems it would do really good over some bigger jumps :)

  • wow..... i think the pony is more of a jumper.... if u really wanna win at the big shows. but for fun it could be a hunter. your a good rider!

  • The pony looks for suited to be a jumper than a hunter. He's so excited! Good riding.

  • Wow!!! You are an amazing rider! Your legs are so tight, and you look so focused and completely with your horse(s)... Ignore what everybody else says, because you are doing exactly what you should be doing (and even if you weren't, you have a trainer to correct you). Keep up the great work; you have just taught me a lot more than I knew before I watched this video! P.S.- I love the paint; she reminds me of my lease horse over fences;)

  • @8HorseGal

    Thanks so much!

  • i would slow down if i were you

  • @horsemad544

    I guess it's a good thing you're not me then :D

  • this is a hunter???????

  • @rslivetoride

No, the pony is a hunter but is a fun ride in the jumper ring also. The mare at the beginning is being trained in the hopes of doing prixs

  • I've been riding for a while and what I noticed is that you're letting your pony go at her own speed and you have very little control. You crouch over while you sit the canter. Getting off of her back will help your strength and posture. My advice is gain more control and bring your shoulders back and open your chest more. Other than that, you're a very good rider and can be very successful.

  • Great job i loveee the song

  • This pony reminds me of so many horses that have passed through my lesson barn. And many of the current horses.I could never ride a horse like that!

  • Lulu and Pony! Nice broken lin with libby! Ur so amazing!

  • this pony would be a boss show jumper

  • @hasandhorses

    Yeah, she's a lot of fun :D

  • wow you do amazing on her!

  • haha this horse reminds me of a tiny pony in my stables :))

hes not young anymore but still speeds into fences :) great jumper though, love horses like that.

  • nice job riding such a forward horse!!!

  • @Summahsunn29

Thanks! She's a lot of fun

  • Omg! That was amazing, that horse really really loves to jump. MY horse is just lazy, it takes so much effort to make her do anything. Btw, whats the name of the song calleld?

  • @TheClarkClan1

Thanks! The song is called straight to video and it's by a band called MSI

  • @allieanimaux How come the song is a different version than the original? I am planning to go through with the jumping with my horse. I found a stable ten miles from my Dad and I have the biggest possibility of boarding her there and my Dad knows the trainer

  • Holy fast pony!! Haha, really cute.

  • wow that horse loves to jump!

  • @benttreemegan

    yes she does! Thanks!

  • I really like how you and the horse jump together. It all looks good. The horse isn't really rushing into them or anything, but a little slower and collected would be nice for more of a show jumping style. But it all depends on what you plan to do. Nice work :D

  • i'm soo jealous of your leg it always stays put, your an amazing rider!

  • @erinrider

    Thank you sooo much.

  • great job you were flying over thoose jumps nice pony maybe just rekease more ?

  • u must do jumpers

  • @asdflkjhaklsjfjkasdf

Yes, I do jumpers and equitation :). thanks for watching!

  • geez were you practicing for speed trials? lol your a grreat rider

  • @Hope4Height

yeah when this was filmed she only had two speeds: fast and faster :) . she maybe has two and a half speeds now :) . Thanks!

  • Your an excellent rider!!!!!! :)

  • @4everhorserider

    Thank you!

  • Holy cow. That's a speedy pony! Doesn't seem very Hunter-ish.

  • @jezzykax3

She definitely is good in the jumpers, but we show he mostly in the hunters. Another girl at my barn show her. I definitely have the tendency to ride her like a jumper cuz she's so much fun....

  • Hot damn, I hope you're showing her jumpers. WOOOOO. This is me subscribing.

  • @penguinlover42

She does get around in the jumpers...quite well too! :D

  • wooooo look at that horse gooooooo!!!! I had to subscribe after that performance. :D

  • @TheHorsesareForever

Yay!!!!!!!!! Thank you soo much!!! I'll be posting new vids soon...just feeling a lack of creativity :(

  • @allieanimaux

haha I know what you mean. I can't think of ANYTHING!!! :D

  • awe your horses are so cute! I love how you guys aren't pulling your horses around by the mouth excellent riding!...I would have been on the ground numerous times lol

  • @appyhearts00

Im sure you would have been fine :) ! Thank you!

  • good job!!!!!!!!!!!! u to r great together! but u may want to keep ur hands back a little bit!

  • aww, both of them are so cute! I love Gidget!

Great riding, and nice video :)

  • @OneForTheMoney6

    Thank you :) !

  • you and him make this look sooo easy!

  • @sonoraandlolo

    Thanks!

She very fun and I just rode her again recently. Hopefully there will be some new video of her soon!

    Thanks again :) !

  • this is really cute! love the song and the paint is absolutely adorable =] I have a paint also lol

  • Thanks :) !

  • loosen ur reins...and if your horse is forward learn to half halt u have no bend in your arm because there so far up ur horses neck forcing you yo throw ur hands away over the fence in stead of a nice half halt.

  • umm....i know exactly what a half halt is. And if you look im not throwing my hands away. My hands stay in the same place the whole time, but over fences they are either pressed into the mane as a crest release or im doing an automatic release.

  • @xoxlarkxox none of what you just said means anything because she is riding the course as a jumper course for speed, so she is not keeping her horse super collected between the fences. she needs her reins that short so they don't get super long when the horse lifts its head. it allows her to maintain even contact no matter where the horse holds its head. this girl is a very good rider

  • @echograpefruit Thank you so much :) !

  • wow for the first video this is pretty well put together!!! looking forward to more!!

  • Thanks :) !

  • Fun vid! I really liked the 3 jump diagonal line, that is really good training for both rider and horse to come along and off that! Both horse and rider really good. Riders leg right on the horse and does not move! That is awesome! Thanks for posting, and enjoy both the hunter and jumper ring! both have a lot to offer us all! -Aquilon

  • Thank You :) !

  • You look AMAZING! i'm a hunter jmuper too but i have to say i prefer jumpers:) ahha i like go fast =) i subbed :)

  • Thank you!

Yeah, hunters can get boring, derby classes are fun tho since they're kinda of unusual. Jumpers are fun for sure!

  • haha yeah .. YES! they are ! mhmm

  • Wow i can't believe you are calling US retards! Showjumping is where you go " fast " ar you would say it or extend your canter! Hunter Jumpers want elegance beauty and good partnership with our horse! We are not trying to get the fastest time or racing against the clock. So obiously you are the retard! I bet you are some little 9 year old who thinks they know everything about horses. And wth! Nobody cares if you are an eventer. In the end it is RIDING! GOD! get a freakin life

  • what determines if your a good rider or not is if you ride properly or not! and hunter jumpers DO NOT ride properly!!!! you go too fast, and are too far forward are the main things, but there are many more! and sure i would survive a day hunter jumping! i already do showjumping in eventing, just in a better and safer way. but the thing is, i would NEVER be a hunter jumper. why do that when i can event an ride for REAL? i can't post a comment because my camera won't work and its pissing me off!

  • Jesus. Go fight over someone else's video already!

  • go sit in a hole already.

  • really? hunter jumpers are NOT about going fast look it up, and show jumping is where you go fast your TIMED and you want to get the best time in hunter jumpers you r NOT timed

  • @123456candie There is a difference between hunters and jumpers. Please go read a book before you open your mouth. Hunters is not fast. Yes we ride more forward, but that is the hunter way. I was a hunter for 8 years then moved to an eventing barn so I think I would know. If you're doing show jumping at events, you are basically doing a slow jumper class. Next time do your research before you try to insult somebody.

  • I think you handle this horse very well! Your seat is very balanced! I ride a horse that is extremely forward and green like the one in this video and you handle him/her very well. Great job! = D

  • thank you very much :) . She's a fun one anyway tho!

  • i dont no if its me but it looks like the horse is pulling on the reins and your being pulled forward a bit...

  • i know how to ride, i don't have any videos because its my camera uploader, not youtube. yall know nothing about eventing if thats what you think!!! send me a video of an eventer like that and prove it!! cuz i EVENT and i am a real rider unlike you retards.

  • Okay, Just STOP!!!! I don't get you at all!!! Just because you EVENT (which ISNT that big a deal) DOESNT MEAN A THING HONEY!!!!!! I and other hunter jumpers are not NOT NOT Retards THANK YOU. POST A FREAKING VIDEO and let Us trash it see how it feels! I bet you wouldn't survive a day hunter jumping so just Shut your freaking mouth about it!!! Go o idk RIDE take a VIDEO UPLOAD it and I bet money you aren't a "real rider" What determines that anyway? If you event? Bull who cares

  • Although, I would try to keep my hands lower, but thats jump me (: Listen to your trainer not me by all means (:

  • Thanks for the nice words! my hands are a little high but this a green jumper and she needs a little extra support. If you watch my other vids you can see my usual hand position. thank you though, and dont listen to candie either :) !

  • No problem (:

  • Absolutely AMAZING riding (: Don't listen to candie, you look great. I would love for you to give some pointers and last time I checked the horse speeds up in eventing when it get to the jump with its head held up high in the air. Amazing!! I subbed and Faved (:

  • you must really not know anything about real eventing, because we certainly do NOT gallop to fences. we set the horse up before the jump, shortening their strides, so t hat they can get up and over the jump. or atleast thats what real riders do.

  • Precisely. But since there are zero videos of you riding I cant be exactly sure what you are. thank you for defeating your own words about "hunters galloping to fences".

  • seriously do u know ANYTHING about riding! And do u have anything good to say!!! I doubt u even ride!

  • what does this have to do with dying?

  • All you talk about is how galloping to fences is stupid, which is precisely what you do in eventing. As a result, eventing is sometimes unnecessarily dangerous and is surrounded by criticism. Frankly, I think you should keep your mouth shut when you talk about disciplines that you clearly do not understand. And moreover, you give a bad name to all the good, sportsman like eventers out there. Riders are all out there doing what they love, so stop pitting disciplines against each other. It's sad..

  • hunter jumper is SHIT. eventing is better. going a million miles an hour to a fence with a horse's head straight up is so STUPID!!!! god all you hunter jumper idiots are retarded.

  • What kind of hunter videos have you been watching? Obviously, if you have watched hunters go you would realize that a horse who "had their head straight up" would be severely penalized and not place. If you had watched any jumper videos as you claim you have, you also would have noticed that jumpers are on the bit and generally wear some type of martingale to prevent that. By the way how many hunter jumper horses and riders have you heard of dying in riding accidents? None. Eventers, 5 last year

  • ok hunters care about equitation show jumpers dont! what is wrong with u STRAIGHT UP HEADS? not hunters!???....

  • Great riding don't listen to anybody else trying to criticize you. they most likely don't have your mad skills and jealous you ride beautiful talented horses.

  • Thanks! You're too nice :) !

  • wow over 700 views!!

  • wow the music makes it seem intense. thats coool:):) ur a great rider!:)

  • pony was born for showjumping i believe :]

  • i know right :) ? She thinks she's a litle grand prix jumper :) !!!!! Thanks !!!!!

  • I love how these people are baggin on you because you're not the world's best rider.

thats usually how it gets anyways though... the better the rider you are, the more youtube tells you you suck :/ its completely true... look up any olympian and any backyard jumper and read the difference between the comments. the backyard jumpers get their asses kissed and the videos of olympians have "you call that a piaffe/extended walk?!?!?! this person suxx0rs" all over their video...

  • Thank you :). I generally dont appreciate less than constructive criticism especially from riders who have don't demonstrate that they ride at a comparable level to me (inluvwithhorses15), but i'm not going to criticize them because of their ignorance. Riding has become one of those sports where everyone feels that they need to one up each other, which is very unfortunate. Part of being a good, skilled, sportsman-like rider is eating a piece of humble pie every now and then.

  • And realizing that EVERYONE has room to improve, starting with those who feel the need to be blatantly rude to complete strangers. I feel that I am a good stable rider who has nice sable leg to match a good stable love for the sport. Viewers have the right to disagree, but i hope they realize that they are single-handedly responsible for the degeneration of the of the sportsmanship of being an equestrian, and I hope they realize this before they click the "post comment" button.

  • you'd be jumping ground poles with my last trainer.

  • huh?

  • Good for you...

  • lower your hands a bit and put the iron closer to your toe and heels down more and than perfect :)

  • Seems more like Show Jumper..

Doesn't appeal to me at all. O_o

    Sorry, but, that's not Hunter-looking.

  • yeah, the little mare in the begining is totally as show jumper, but the pony has the hunter style. with her im doing more of a hunter style course even tho im riding her more as a jumper at some points.

  • lol thats ok she wasn't asking you if the pony appealed to you.

  • Ha I figured it out!!!

I love this video Alexus, you need to put more up.

God I can`t believe how good Libby is!!

    See you this summer!!

  • Haha i c myself :))! ahaha luv the video

  • THANKS :) ! Thats funny that were both in eachothers videos. i was watching yours and i was like hey! i know that barn and thats me! nice ride. you and travis are getting good :) ! see ya around:) !

  • *cough cough* HYPOCRITE.

  • im not. Im keeping my horse on a steady pace hence the reason all the distances fit. this is how a jumper should go, but in your video the horse was pushed to run to evry fence when the rider had no idea what distance she was going to leave from as evidenced by the chips the horse kept getting. I would say that that is the sweetest horse in the world....i dont know of any horses who would jump when being ridden like that.

  • haha whatever chick.

funny thing is, pretty much all the jumpers at my barn (including myself) are ranked.

  • That may be, but there is not argument that that was a scary approach. You, and whoever it was that was riding may be good riders, noting the fact that ive not even commented on anyone being a good or bad rider, however that ride was poor, and frankly dangerous. Ive seen your other videos which are good,so im suprised you wouldnt be able to see that.

  • wow, with that speed, he looks like quite the jumper pony!

  • yeah she is, but then again they both are. the pony can go as a really cute childrens hunter with the little kids too tho. i was just schooling her to keep her sharp, but im thinking about doing the 3" jumpers on her this summer :). she is fun!!!!!!!

  • cute :)

  • KICKASS!!!
