@TheNootzWhoo I have taken it to the service center for a couple of times now,The battery status is unreliable ,the phone sometimes turn itself off,some day it is fine,some day,it just off and dead .Even the the battery charged tup to 100%,when unplugged ,dead again.

Damn... I want this so bad. Its by far, in my opinion, the best designed Motorola phone made. They could have done away with the D-pad though and raised the keys, but f*** it. 3.7" display is great, capacitive touch is great, physical and touch keyboard is great. Love that developers have done so much with it. Froyo ROM for Droid? Overclock to 800Mhz or even 1Ghz? Beast, just beast. Very happy with the EVO though.

I personally didn't like this phone- every person is different- I encourage anyone considering buying this phone to go to a store and play around with one for awhile and see if it's a good fit for you- and this may be blunt- but if people don't want the 29.99 data plan- there's probably not much of a reason to have a smart phone in the first place

no, in theory you never have to do anything with the phone open. You can turn the phone sideways (horizontally) and still use a virtual keyboard.

Im getting this phone in January! I already have unlimited internet on my plan now for 9.99 a mo. Will they let me use that or do i have to buy the 29.99 a mo for the email plan as they call it.

they are full of it , that's Verizon's motto, sticking to you one uneducated customer service rep after another. i went into a local Verizon store which also happen to be the tech repair and replacement center for our area of the world. i went in to out right buy a phone cash money. literally, convo went like this "may i buy this phone cash money, full price,

no discounts at all". it took them 2 hours to try and figure out what i was doing. they said i couldn't leave the store with out a plan on the phone. i told them i have a plan already they still didn't know what to do. the manager even failed. in the end a portly Hispanic gentleman only 6 months on fix the issue and i got to leave with a phone but not with out carrying out a huge disappointed feeling about Verizon's Competency
