Shows how an early error can lead to a quick loss - good commentary. It's the sort of thing Kasparov or Karpov (inter alia) would also punish. Sometimes the young masters or GMs are lazy on chess opening theory... of course also if one doesn't know it pays to study the position very carefully -the Be7 move looks relatively impulsive...
even if young gms are lazy, this was even really strange for theory lazy gms. did anyone hear any commentary from caruana how he could go so wrong??

great commentary -- this sort of stuff (postgame analysis in any form) + 'live' 5 min games = bliss.
why so afraid of rybka all of a sudden, though? i get not wanting a computer to dictate yr interpretations, but it seems useful as an analysis tool.

19...Qf5? was black's blunder. 19...Qg6 20. Bd3 Qh6 21. Qxh6 gxh6 is a more plausible continuation.

Beyond the massive weakness on d5, 11. ... e5 would fail to 12. Bxe5, since the pawn is pinned.
