i own a used car lot and i can tell you that the cash for clunkers may have ruined us. we specialized in really decent cars that retailed for at the most $4500, but on the average, $3500. when i go to the dealer auctions to get these affordable and great cars, i find that they NO LONGER EXIST! The only vehicles available for us now are high mileage, body damaged junkers, or expensive, late model vehicles that normal people cant afford, or intelligently refuse to go into debt for. BIG PROBLEM!

If he cant pay claims on a temp $2 billion program, can we trust him to pay claims on a $1.5 trillion perm life and death program such as Obamacare?We dont have enough cash for the Obamacare clunker with a Rolls Royce price tag. Tell him to scrap the clunker and let us keep our cadillac
How can most average Americans who lost their homes and have bad credit, etc. afford a new car? The used clunkers were the only affordable buys and now the Government is taking that away from the poorer Americans.
people must be under some kind of obama hypnosis or something. how could you think that getting rid of your late 90 to early 2000 model year cars and trucks that are perfectly good is smart? and remember by participating in this program you are feeding the fire that is the obama administration willfully wasting billions and billions of our tax dollars. this is going to ultimately hurt all americans in the near future. just you wait and see......
