I've had the opportunity to share in one of those with a good friend one cool, stormy October evening last Fall coupled with several Disaronno "Two of Hearts", and Disarrono "Milk Shakes" and talk about a wonderful experience. The flavors of the Amaretto drinks coupled with the balanced bittered Dark Chocolate composition of the cigar is something that I highly, highly recommend. It makes Life so very much worth living, and thank you so very much for the wonderful videos that you share with us!!
@smokinghotcigarchick I did that with my first cigars, and I think everyone can confirm that you quickly learn not to hehe. Especially with strong, richly flavoured cigars.
Well I am stationed in Japan and I only smoke 1 to 2 cigars on friday. I have been trying a fre cuban cigrs from Romeo Y Julieta No. 2 or Petit Julietas. If I'm feeling like I want to spend some extra cash, then I pick up a couple Cohiba Siglo II or III. I will be traveling to LA next month and I want to bring a few with me to trade and meet new people and endulge myself.
@FOGHATfan4life inhaling cigar smoke will honestly make you vomit. I would liken the amount of smoke to the amount of five unfiltered cigarettes. I would not recommend inhaling a cigar, but if you want to try it, by all means......
So far, I've only experimented with gas station sticks like Middleton Cherry and Game Grape. But because of this video (and other glowing reviews for the La Riqueza), I've already put in the order for the La Riqueza No. 1, which will be my first 'real" cigar. I'm looking forward to it!
When I get a craving for chocolate/coffee I go for a Padron 2000 or 3000; wonderful! And these won't put a dent in your wallet either. I also often crave a Perdomo 10th anniversary Cabinet series maduro or a RP The Edge... great, affordable and flavorful smokes!
@LolMileHighClubEasy This is a question I get asked a lot and it's difficult to answer. In many way, it's like asking what kind of food to try. It depends on your palate & what kinds of foods & wines or cocktails you already like. A mild cigar is what a lot of people would say. I would disagree with that advice if you like spicy foods & heavy red wines & scotches. Send me a message and tell me what kinds of food & drinks you like and I will give you a few recommendations.
@LolMileHighClubEasy probably too late to really help, try montecristo no.5 or guantanamero cristales. (prefer monte myself) but these are nice light, easy cigars and are a good way in to the cigar world. Can also try H.Upmann Petit Corona and as you try new ones you will get better at it. Otherwise go to local cigar shop and just ask... I wasn't used to usa with no cubans and asked, they got some great cigars without the need to be cuban.
The best flavored cigars in my opinion are the Acid Line By Drew Estates! Have u tried any of these? Do you plan on reviewing them? And do u have a favorite in this line?
@theyhateb While I appreciate and support Acid and Drew Estate, honestly I don't smoke flavored cigars. I have many friends that do, though and love them.
@theyhateb i could review every Acid cigar Drew Estates has made but I don't give the bullshit they all give about chocolate or a nutty flavor..it's just spice and sweetness.
Yeah, I think I said I wanted flavor when I meant aroma. I got confused and steered him the wrong way, but it's all good. Thank you for the suggestions, I'll try to find them soon! I can imagine the chocolates and coffees would be good. I've found that I have more of a sweet tooth myself when it comes to cigars
@carrottop206 Let me know what you think. If you do actually want to try a coffee flavored cigar, Drew Estate makes the Tabak Especial and Rocky Patel has the Java.
I'm very new to the world of cigars and would like some suggestions. I went to my local cigar store and the owner was very open and helpful and suggested some good ones. My favorite so far is definitely the Arturo Fuente Corona Imperial. Any suggestions on cigars with similar milky/coffee aroma and natural flavors?
I mentioned I wanted that similar kind of flavor and the guy suggested an Acid Kuba Kuba, which was good, but that kind of flavored was not what I was looking for haha. Still good
@carrottop206 You said you wanted something like a Fuente and he suggested a Kuba Kuba?! Maybe he thought you wanted a flavored cigar? Try a Cabaiguan Guapo. An Angelenos is very creamy but not very coffee.
I would maybe explore Cameroon wrappers for nutty flavors like the Fuente Hemingway, Oliva G, Ashton Heritage. Or try and Ashton Maduro for coffee and chocolate notes.
My craving is the Oliva Serie O. It has that sweetness and flavor profile that I mainly seem to get in Cuban cigars. It has lots of flavor, some spice and that lingering Cubanesque sweetness.
Hey chick, nice videos. Like a previous poster said Java by Drew Estate is a good stick and I'll often search for something from Drew Estate when I'm craving something different.
I'm 16, I've only smoked 1 cigarillo, and nothing else, but I'm really interested in cigars. Do you think cigars are bad for my health, should I wait until I'm older to start smoking? Great videos by the way!
My favorite so far is a Hoyo de Monterrey of Havana. It was just a gorgeous smoke with with some Port after a meal. There's no embargo on Cuba here so I have only tried Cubans but I like bold, rich flavours so I may give that one you mentioned a go (dark chocolate is nearly better than sex :D). I just found a guy in Spain who can send me them for a third of the price they are here in Scandinavia so I'll give a few hand rolled ones a shot over the rest of the summer.
I'm setting up a bachelor party for a friend, and want to find a good cigar that most of the guys there-- even the ones that don't smoke regularly-- will enjoy. Any suggestions for me?
@cotrackguy I would suggest something on the milder, mild to medium side. Check with your local tobacconist to see what he/she has available. There should be some great smokes at a good price point that everyone will be able to enjoy. Either a box or mix and match.
i smoke myself yes but i have tryed fags and bout 3 cigars before only small ones but where do u get cigars like this. please tell me. or tell me that u r ready 2 say then i will let u email me
Hey, if you like the coffee flavors, have you ever tried a Java made by Drew Estates? Let me know if you have and what you thought about it. Also, what is the name of the cigar you are smoking here? I'd like to pick one up and give it a shot. Thanks.
@taylor2142 No I haven't. I'm not particularly a fan of flavored cigars but I understand that they're quite delicious. I'm smoking a La Riqueza in the video.
My current favorite is the recently introduced Joya De Nicaragua Dark Corojo Poderoso. It is a 6X54 Torpedo. Unlike many cigars, this doesn't need that first half inch of burn to settle in. It is great from the very first draw. Initially it hits you with that ligero punch, but remains smooth throughout the smoke. The draw is ample with volumes of creamy, thick smoke. It, as with the Antano Gran Reserva, is a full bodied cigar, with it changing flavor about three times. I strongly recommend it.
i have never tried a cigar and would love to can anybody tell me which is cool cigar or cigratte ???? i know cigar we don't inhale and cigratte we do inhale but why do many ppl say cigar is wonderfull please reply ^_^
@ChrisK513 Rocky Patel brands hover from 3.95 to 15.00 Try one of the 7 year aged variety, which is about 4.50. Or Baccarat half corona, cost 3.50. Both are superb for the price.
@ChrisK513 I love Fuentes as well. Maybe try Ashton (also made by Fuente) or a Padron if you want something fuller bodied. Fuente Hemingways are classics.
cohiba siglo v1 is a cigar i tend to get cravings for deffinatly a fav for me, or a padron anniv. diplomaticos, churchill size 50 ring an a glass or two of remi martin coeur de cognac, always a winner, might start posting my own reviews on a few of my fav sticks..... u look great by the way smokinghotcigarchic xx
La Riqueza is a fantastic smoke. Just like almost anything Pete Johnson does. If you like that I also suggest the Cabaiguan Maduro, Padilla Miami, or on the rare/pricy side the Fuente Anejos -- they also use a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper like the Riquezas and are fantastic with some down time.
You should watch my other videos. I adore Tatuajes and just did a review of the Cabaiguan a couple weeks ago. I also have an interview with Pete at IPCPR last summer. And I have some Sharks aging in my humidor right now. ;)
im craving a smoke soo bad but only got john player blues and im the kind of guy who loves a dunhill blue, in my opinion they are the best kind of smokes.
Red is always the stronger nicotine-tar content cigarette. The taste is more harsh. I would say that, after trying Dunhill blacks, stay with the blues
I think you'r sexy with or without the cigar,I smoke cigarettes.I do like the cigar enlightenment, you do a great job on that.I do still think you have a very sexy voice and look...don't fault me for that.
I call bull-shit on that one! I happen to be a tobacco chewer and I know better. Why do you think a heart patient puts a nitro pill under his or her tongue? So far I've been "lucky" with my addiction. You ever hear of oral cancer?
It is true that smoke does enter the bloodstream through the mouth, but the lungs provide a MUCH more convenient gateway. The alveoli grab the smoke and take it directly into the bloodstream. Smoke in the mouth doesn't transfer to the bloodstream nearly as fast.
With chewing tobacco, however, the nicotine sits in your mouth for somewhat long periods of time. This gives it time to go into your bloodstream through your mouth.
And yes, oral cancer is a risk. I'm not denying that. However, it is such a small risk. I believe studies show that smoking 2 cigars a day increases your risk of oral cancer 2%. Most smokers that I know smoke once a day or every other day. Their increased risk of cancer is so minute that it isn't worth worrying about.
Besides, life is short. Why not enjoy it with a cigar? ^_^
I mean, nicotine is one of the most addicting substances on earth
Yeah, cigarettes definently have more shit in them, but thats just because the cigarette companies are assholes that just want our money, not like the cigar companies. Cigars are a passion, ya know?
But anyway, I smoked cigarettes long before I started smoking cigars, so from a personal stand-point, idk if they're addictive, but scientifically, yeah.
I have cravings for the Partagas Black and the Partagas Spanish Rosado. The La Flor Dominicana Limitado IV also beckons me. And how could I forget the La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Miami Campana Chica.
That is too great- I love it! I know I go through my moods of which size and style I want for the day, but the dark chocolate craving is a consistently recurring one for me.
I wasn't sure where I was going this weekend, but the idea of pairing coffee with a cigar is very much on my mind now. Sounds wonderful!
Try the RP Winter Collection. Not sure how strong you like your cigars, but the Camacho Corojo line is awesome as well. As for cravings, theres only one that i get that unwavering urge for, Partagas Serie D #4. If you can get them, they are outstanding. Not overly expensive, and the only ISOM that i really care for.
i crave man o war puro authentico in the morning

are cigars addictive like cigarettes?
12345678910ADAMBOMB 2 years ago
No, definitely not.
Cigarettes are inhaled, so the smoke goes directly into the bloodstream via the alveoli in the lungs.
Cigar smoke only goes in the mouth, so hardly any of it makes its way into the bloodstream.
Also, cigarettes have tons of chemicals in them to make them more addicting.

Yes it is, and I do. My friends own The Deadwood Tobacco Co. in Deadwood SD. I always end up inhaling too much.....

Yeah, they definently are.
They're definently mentally addictive though haha

I have cravings for the Partagas Black and the Partagas Spanish Rosado. The La Flor Dominicana Limitado IV also beckons me. And how could I forget the La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Miami Campana Chica.

Hi Teresa
It's funny how you speak of your cravings because I've had the exact same craving all weekend lol
A nice rich full flavoured maduro cigar that has a nice dark choclate and coffee are the flavours I enjoy most in a maduro cigar.
1 cigar that is definitely worth a try is the Alec Bradley MAXX "The Ego" (9.25" x 50rg).
I fired up one up last week and it started off great and finished amazing and it's perfect for a coffee or cappuccino.
Your videos are awesome, top rating.

If you crave dark chocolate, give the Nica Libre a try.

Teresa, great informative videos! Try the torpedo shaped Baccarat in the natural. Great sweet taste on the lips, mild yet flavorful. Super job.

I like the idea of pairing coffee with a cigar- I love a nice french roast, can very much see them going together. Great idea.
Chocolate definitely goes nicely, too- chocolate and a bit of scotch, very nice ;)
