I'm surprised at how fast they can run! I can understand how Unico and Marasu(sp?) can run like crazy, but how old is Sherry? 8? 9? And she can run as if she were a track star! I couldn't even run that fast back then! I guess it's all major adrenaline rush trying to get away from a giant, "NYAAAAH"ing toy dragon?
Ok, so instead of the Island of Magic, we get the Ends of the Earth (where the script for this film should have stayed), AKA 'The Island of Misfit Toys'? All right, I guess Sanrio had to evade a lawsuit somehow. Still, very disappointing.
Courage and love? I would so burn that horse... I digress, this movie is terrible. We should have gotten the bigbad's story at the BEGINNING of this film. Albeit, the Heathcliff extra did try to convince the Nights reject to explain the plot to us.. And failed.

This (Unico II) is a bad movie. Sorry to have crushed your sentiments towards it with truth, but such is the way it is.

Now I remember why this movie stuck with me as a child. This is the first animated movie I'd seen where someone is actually injured and not like Warner Bros. kind of slapstick hurt. It's possibly this scene that opened my mind to animation as a whole beyond Disney fluffiness. Even now, I wince because, damn Toby, that looks like it hurts.
OMG!!! this is the memory I'd been remembering for all these years! As soon as I saw the image at 9:04 in 7/10, i knew that was it! Thank you for uploading this. I don't remember anything else from this movie but for some reason, the puppet walking into the water always stuck with me. and actually it was the sound effects of when they run that lead me here. (almost water droplet sounds) eerie.
I really adore that mechanical dragon...It was such a strong memory when I was that little...he was the comedic character in this movie...that scream its wild... lol
While Ithink it's great that Tobi refused to turn sherri into a living puppet andchose to fight agaionst kuruku, I would have thouht Tobi would have lasted lobnger than he did
I'm probably going to get a thumbs down for this...but that dragon makes me think of the evil rabbids from Rayman at 3:54-4:00 oO; I remember the first movie more then I remembered this one. I think this came on HBO one time when I was little after that I never saw it again.

that dragon bot is both bizarre and hilarious. The sound it makes when it screams is GREAT! and the tiny bit o fire it breathes is the perfect touch...
