  • i'm looking up monologues for the crucible.. since i have to do one in 2 weeks! and i have to make my own speech :S

  • Four years ago, and I'm still cringing if I watch this video... I am fighting the urge to delete it, please don't tempt me.

  • its like you have no idea what's going on in the show its like your just reading it off as if its a random speech.

  • ATTENTION EVERYONE! I know this is terrible, so stop telling me.

  • @ryanscoolvideos actually you did a good job. All you needed was a cowboy hat and you would've rock it ten fold than you already rocked it.

  • word of advice...watch movies and shows before doing monologues...and work with what other actors do to help better your work(do not act like them tho)

  • Doing this tomorrow for english...CAN'T WAIT!!

  • I can see your passion in this, and it's good.

I was in the Crucible as Abigail this year and from first hand hand experience, I think you need to "up the stakes" a little bit more, and you don't need to yell to make it intense (:

  • Being an actor, I would say you need to work on not speeding up, using good diction, and having more facial expressions. You've made this monologue feel as though it's very jerky and paniced. Try to slow down a bit and get a little more into character. Good job though, well done.

  • not being mean but that made you sound like a drama king

  • @twilightnparamore I definitely thought about it. But I was learning a monologue for English class- it was more about the memorization, and less about the acting. Not to mention this was 2 years ago. Most 15-year-olds don't know how to express what it feels like to be John Proctor. But thanks for the feedback.

  • @ryanscoolvideos That's not true I can express those feelings back when I am 13 years old because I experienced them before.

  • don't listen to the silly people :) it's wonderful, good job!

  • Too fast, emotionless, monotone, wrong words .....

  • Over acting.

  • @wesleyman3 I agree.

  • @ryanscoolvideos

I might have been biased though also. Favorite scene in the play, and my standards are difficult for even me to reach.

  • @ryanscoolvideos Now, ten months later, I commend you. Great line from a great movie. Time has humbled me sir.
