  • what do you use to make the ailerons and elevators move, is it some kind of motor????

  • @warriorxp111 its a servo

  • hello

i am in miami you know were i can find depron in what local

  • With a nice camera at the nose, you could fly it through a TV monitor and fo further out from the field that's gold help you if you loose the camera signal tho LOL.

  • For future recommendations, you pronounce "Oregon" the same way you pronounce the word "organ," not "Ore-a-gone." Sheesh!

  • Starscream!

  • i want one joking i dont one i dont have the money

  • ssssssoooooooooo, wheres the mini camera in the link???

  • Heh, I tell you what, you sale the plane parts together in a pack and mail them country wide, I'LL BUY!!!!!!

  • y not thy make a wwII line up ?

  • Love the F-22 Mate!

You need to go the distance and put slats in the mix!

    cheers

    James

  • I thought you were going to crash it... peter griffin would have crashed it

  • where the old guy go :(((( without him its not that cool i liked hearing his theories

  • I'd love to get into this kind of thing but I wouldn't know where to begin, I'm terrible at airfix models alone, never mind things as complex as this..

  • who is Scott

  • @MusicOnTheFly at almost 1:50 he says yeah and there is an blue text that say:

    was that peter griffin

  • Check out my new suggestion: VTOL Experiments: RC F-22 Becomes RC F-32

And F-32 is an F-22 with VTOL Capabilites, no joke.

  • @Amaroqdricaldari And what happened to the F-22 with Airbrakes video?

  • hey bro this control work in this airplane?

    FlySky FS-TH9X 2.4G 9CH System

  • Comment removed

  • yes that was peter griffin

  • @TheOiass Peter Griffin? Doody, doody, doody, doody, doody...

  • i say its a good plane man

  • i say its a good plane man !

  • sure acts like a f22

  • what kinda jet would u recommend for a beginer??

  • Oh Reh Gon

  • Where can I get the specs from the modifications? Just bought the PDF and ordered half the parts so far.

  • Put some BB pellets in this baby and terrorize the bystandards =w=

  • how much it can fly??

  • Hi! how much does your f22 raptor weights?

  • i have the planes fore this, and I really like it, but depron is just not strong enough, i was thinking about making it out of foam bored from walmart, then putting the parkjet motor on a 2200mah 3 cell, do you think that would work?

  • hello

I just bought PDF to F22 through your site rcpowers but I think I'm easy I'm a mistake to not receive pdf highlight the file you maybe help me if I can sent a mail address I can send proof of payment and my data

I hear the likes of you

    thanks

  • @Tebergenc Go to our website, scroll down to the CONTACT page, email Scott. Send him this info:

    - What you ordered.

    - The exact email you ordered with.

  • hey Scott i was looking at your website and was wanting to buy an F-22 airplane, but i have one question, does the plane come with an engine. or what ever makes it fly. love your vids, please get back to me as soon as you can.

    - thanks

  • this is really funny buddy :]

    modication concernd^^

    endgeil____ :D

  • Nice plane you guys always have good ideas. Hope to catch your web show soon. I am a dedicated edf and pushers flyer. What nitroplane edf do you most recommend most stable slow and fast that can take a good beating?

  • hey dave, what do you mean by Peter Griffin?

  • THat is very cool.

  • nice video Dave. I really enjoy watching your videos, and I have been watching them faithfully for the past 2+ years.

I have never built an rc plane before, so I have a question. If I didn't want to set up spoilerons on this plane, could I use just one servo on the left side of the plane (and another one on the right side) and connect a push rod to a control horn on the aileron and one on the elevator? or would I have to use a separate servo for each of the control surfaces?

  • What type of airfoil does this plane have and how do you do it?

  • I am waiting for my mom get this for me so i can pay her, but when i do i would also like to get the air breaks. how do you get them and how much would they be?

  • What do you mean by air show jet crash?

  • Last flight? Looks fine to me.

  • five stars dude...1!! just amazing

  • hey i love all your planes thats exacly what im going to do when im older and im going to have my own shop

  • WOW looks Great, and it looks really cheap, Dont get me wrong. I mean like with all the materials together you wont spend much to build it. Great job. I would love to have one of those.

  • yea this is sick how much

  • how much for this kind of setup?

  • that is so awesome

  • beutiful

  • This RC Jet is totally BAMF! This makes me want to get one. :D

  • Hey are you still doing that twin engine plane foamy for 3d flying? awesome flight 5 stars!

  • Was that Peter Griffin???

  • Looks beautiful! I don't see any ugly tape....What are you using for hinges?

  • wow that things cool!

  • por favor traduce al spanish es muy bueno

  • dude you need to mass produce this and sell it for kids to play with and learn.

  • whooooa

  • did they move???

  • 1 more... just 1 more

  • hahahaha gotta love those slomos at the end!

  • did u move?

  • I believe that WAS Peter Griffin ( 1:50)

  • hey dave i was just wondering what is snap roll or youtube community who knows

  • snaproll is a RC flying forum. do a google search for it.

  • You are getting close to doing Pugachev's Cobra when you slam on the brakes.

  • I'm curious about the "very nice" saying. I've noticed that the oriental guy from Nitroplanes channel uses "very nice" about 100 times in each video. Is Dave's use of "very nice" making fun of that?

  • Ok this is to Dave or anyone else who kows what would happen.

so if u put a controllable flap before the prop would it have sort of a thrust vector effect on the plane. i know u would have to make the motor/prop moved more to the back and a longer nose so the plane wouldnt just get pushed into the ground.

  • before or after the prop? if you put a movable surface before the prop you will just be causing the prop to spin in turbulent air and reduce it's thrust. it would not change the direction of your thrust because the prop will push it strait again.

  • why dont you just use the dx6i and mix what ever you want?

  • simply the dx7 is better than the other dx5 and dx6i, plus it has more channels for more servos and modifications. i like the dx7 more than dx6i

  • although the dx6i is more user friendly and easier, the dx7 is more advanced and smarter. the dx7 is also simpler, such as, on the home screen where your plane is show and which plane is show everything is there except for if i remember correctly i think the amps on the dx6i

  • was just thinking that what a waste of weight using mixers when the dx6 has enuff mixes to do the same thing

  • Yeah sure buddy.

  • well i would 15ish grams verses nowt using the tx leaves more room for other stuff

  • sorry thought you had the dx6i not the dx6 lol

  • sorry thought you had the dx6i not the dx6, doh

  • aww man... thats such a nice plane... too bad you guys are retiring it lol

  • Yes, It Was Peter Griffin. :)

  • Did the plane stall at 1:47?

  • Dave, what paint did u use for F-22?

  • i want it!!!!!!! :(

  • Aww . . I miss Scott and Keith.

  • Oregon? Did you guys move?

  • if you are retiring the F 22 can you send it to me?

  • Hey if your going to get rid of the plane I WANT IT. Its sad to see work like that go away good job

  • cool

  • Cool

  • angelo1058: That's because those are not actually "spoilers", but "ailerons" modified to act like spoilers, thus "spoilerons". When you point ailerons both down, they are called "flaperons". When you point them both up, they are called "spoilerons".

  • that belly flops pretty nice i miss you guys

  • like the new field you guys went to...very open and nothing to get tangled or stuck in lol but that park with the pond was good too...poor raptor it will b missed...idea...do u think it would b possible to do a flying formation? lol have a couple other people out there and do some blue angels stuff that would b sick

  • I wish I knew enough to be able to build something like this.

  • Why does he add "-ons" to the name of every control surface??? Like "spoiler-ons" its just called a spoiler???

  • coz it has been mixed so it can be use for two purpose..it acts as spoiler, and ailerons..

  • @angelo1085 no. it is a spoilerON because it is a spoiler mixed into the aileron so when you mix the words it is spolerron. same with flaps. etc.

  • Another airsoft shoot'em up video coming up Dave?????

  • sweet

  • wait, where's the tree? out of all the f-22 you find the tree, so where's the tree?

  • dont be a lazy hand tosser Dave :P

  • Dave, You did a video showing how to tx mix. Was that not yours?

  • Thanks guys, another entertaining video. Sure did miss you guys last week.

  • Dave, I have an RCpowers F-22 EB and my nose keeps breaking off. How did you do this breakaway nose? Does it lock in with magnets or just with toothpicks? Loved the video!

  • magnets wont work, use tothpicks and hotglue

  • "I'm gonna hit the brakes and he's gonna fly right by."

    "You're gonna do what??!"

  • that thng is cool.

  • man, when you said that thing wasn't going to be flying at the end of the day, i really expected you to have fun with it, RCpowers style. Are you just going to take off the electronics and keep the plane?? I'm a little disappointed in not seeing that thing smash to pieces but I understand if you are keeping that well built plane.

  • Ya! Listen to Dave

  • Nice vid! Yo Dave i just love ur videos, theres something in ur video makeing that just makes ppl want to keep on watching your vids! Keep it up

  • Lobster, I believe Dave has a dx7 it's just that onboard mixers are very easy to setup and program plus they are proportionate. You ever notice that radio mixes try to get technical and allow more up elevator input than down? That is great if your servos are mounted in the right direction and you know what you're doing. On board mixers bypass all that. Plus we all know daves radios are all filled with skittles.

  • scoobydawg08 sorry to burst your bubble, its a dx6, if you look at minute 3:23 in 1080p you'll be able the read the lettering DX6, and that means the reason he's using onboard mixers is not because its easier, its because he has no other way of mixing the servos together, the radio in this video has not mixing capabilities (the lack of a screen to program with)

  • I think scoobydawg04 was saying "I also have a DX7" besides my DX6. Which I don't. I just have a DX6.

I use to have a JR9CH something but gave it to Scott Lott.

Reason being is it was too time consuming to figure out one more thing to program.

Which is why I use the onboard mixers.

I chose to invest my limited RC time into video editing rather than mastering computer radio programing.

I know there are "better ways" but I need the quickest way for the sake of the big picture.

  • lol why wer they at a school?

  • Your planes will get a whole lot lighter when you finally grab a DX7 :)

  • How difficult is it to arrange to fly one of these in Central Park? Can I just build one and take it there on a nice day or is there a complicated to impossible permit procedure? If you could start listing details like that on your website it would be very helpful.

  • you need an permit to fly in central park i did not know that are you serious

  • i like your camera on the plane thing but you know what would be cool? a live feed of that! almost like in the cockpit.

  • it was Peter Griffin

  • lol..... yeeeea

  • Click, click, plop!

    Love it!

  • hey dave how come you dont crash your planes anymore?? i enjoy learning about rc airplanes and such but watching then crash and burn is just as fun!

  • lol Peter Griffin

  • That is a beautiful looking plane and looks very stable

in the air. Also, I like that parachute maneuver. Cool.

  • butifool

  • u gotta try mixing down elevator with the air brake. I think it would slow even faster without pitching up as much.

  • family guy FTW!

  • way to go what about front arons on it?

    great video. keep em comming.

  • haha, About 30 seconds before you said it, I was thinking that you were getting pretty comfortable with the throws

  • Nice plane! I like all of the modifications you did. They work quite well.

  • miss keith

  • met too =I

  • lol the nose fell off at very end and one quick qeustion y no vid last week?

  • Awesome! this vid has super HD! Awesome plane too! 5*

  • Another great video... still learning so much... Thanks to you both for the continued effort that brings these videos to us every week...

  • Dave, bit of information you could put in the side bar, for anyone in the UK looking for your mini camera it is available from a shop called Maplin Electronics

  • Hey do you think the k2 would work for the skyrider?

  • Yes, I would think so. I use mostly the KF2 on everything. The KF4 is better for speed but its added weight on the smaller planes.

But yes, for slow flying and all around flying I've been liking the KF2. I would do that one on the SkyRider.

  • i need to buy myself one of those planes...

  • I can watch these vids all day long I need to get in some flight time, how about doing some roto wing vids and some unusual aircraft like a high speed blimp!

  • as always, these vids keep on being really great

  • It's always nice to see you guy's you have awsome talent and I always look forward to your video's.

    Keep up the good work

  • Thanks Dave and Val!

  • Dave, you need a DX7. lol

  • i love the f-22

  • where are you in oregon? portland ?i live on the west side. nice vid by the way

  • "lets just check things quick, roll, rudda, brake rudder." rudda? your funny dave.

  • wow, took you guys long enough to get a new vid up! so glad you did, just bought me a hawksky to begin my new rc hobby! cant wait to get semi-skilled with flying so i can start altering it or perhaps making some pdf foamys! keep up the good work :)

  • @stephenkada i just got my hawksky too! but my esc burnt up somehow and i wasnt even flying it so if i was you i would move it to a place where it can get plenty of cool air on it

  • dont forget to use the sim =D good luck !

remember the sky is the limmit!

  • wow that was some good landing. the best you ever did. lol . i think that should be a one touch switch for emergancy landing, especially for new bies

  • i really like those mods dave great job

  • Nice Dave!

  • That F-22 looks very nice in that slo-mo shoot @ 2:08 - 2:11.

Y'all ever though of creating your own personal Smithsonian Oregonian Air and Foamy Museum? Would be fitting to retire that F-22 to.

  • Ha ha Parachute Mode. Cool Beans!

  • Yeah got to admit that is one sweet plane you have there Dave/Val ;-) but i wanted to see that break away nose you talked about on the video ;-( but i can't always get what i want ;-) but great setup and i like how you did all that mixing makes it a lot easyer in some ways = 5*

  • That is Oh, veery nice! No-effort landing is the new thing. hahaha

  • Nice.

  • yo this is pretty sick... i loved how u just repeatedly tried doing flat spins towards the end lol :D

  • Very nice, I've been waiting for the new RC Powers Video, always a treat.

  • Great vids great flying great youtube channel.

amazing job!! I am learning Rc flight with a parkzone radian, already destroyed it twice and rebuilt. i want to practice with a hawk sky but cant find it for sale here in italy. HELP???

  • ohh nice plane

  • nice

    grtzzzzz

  • I really like this plane, I might have to get the PDF plans.

  • @ 0:55 I noteed that on my X-2 parkjet the KFm2.

  • WOAH

  • Great model design by Scott Lott. Great flying and modification by Dave. Exceptional camera work by Val. Just great! We love it!

  • awesome backflip! oh oh oOoOo! =)

  • oh veeeeeeeeeeeeery nice!

  • Ohh very nice

  • that was cool!

  • Not to be mean, but the real F-22 is more maneuverable than that. Not joking!

  • @BrainyBoy7 Really and where did you come to this conclusion from /k/ board on 4chan? Go be an ass elsewhere.

  • @SOCOMSNIPER33 Type in "f-22 maneuverability" on google and click the first result there should be a video on the website to watch. The designers of the F-22 are truly brilliant.

  • i watched the video you recommended and i honestly didn't see anything that this rc model cant do it has the same maneuverability for its scale dave doesn't do too many aerobatics in this vid but in others he does some impressive stuff with this f-22

  • such a smooth flight! good on ya dave! i'd buy it off you if you were gonna sell it, obviously with out the servos and motor, and buy them seperately!
