the way people make money over other peoples crippling disorders that ruin their lives, I hope there is a hell for these people and I do think there is
@manofknowledge1000 ;) you tell em.lol ive had s.a.d. all my life. help shoud be free...my s.a.d. that bad ive not been out the house for ner 10 years.and with no help. no job. no benefits. im in hell....and thay want cash .lol makes me sick.
@manofknowledge1000 no ive not even been to the doc`s. i dont trust them and don`t think meds can help me. i no a bit about the brain and haw it works. but manmade chemicals!! naaaa .
There is a difference than having those type of feelings ( Just like EvEryOne Else 783402) and being able to control them, it can feel like waking up with a disease for some people. If you haven't dealt with it, you don't know. trust me. I thought I knew, but I soon found out how rough it really is. But the technique is known to work very well for most, and has for me. Mine didn't start until i was 19 yrs old so saying I just decided one day to "fight" my feelings is...dumb.
2.Allow it, fully experience it/fully let it be, even surrender to it, let it flood you :) WITHOUT LABELING IT. DONT SAY "THIS IS BAD" or "FUCK MY LIFE IS TERRIBLE" ETC, Just let it be there, no matter HOW INTENSE it is :) it is perfectly fine sensation. Only diff. Between you guys and the rest of the world (lol) is that YALL resist and fight the feeling. And call it SOCIAL ANXIETY. And blame yourselves for something that's OK!
I have lived with this for so long and hard to cope every day. My kids suggested I try making youtube videos to help with the social anxiety so that is what I am doing right now. Every video I have done so far with me having to talk even to a camera is terrifying but I will keep trying. I would love to get over this like you have done. Bless you
You know, I do the same thing. As long as I don't have to "meet and greet" I'm fine, but let me see someone I know who wants to talk to me and I freak out. I do talk to them but I usually have to go "hide" somewhere afterward.
I was in therapy for two year along with medication. It did help to some extent, but I'm aloof by nature so it always seems to everyone like I don't want anything to do with them. I live by myself so I do OK for the most part.
I know what you mean. Overthinking things in my own head is bad enough; I don't need to bring a professional in on my mindspace unless there are clear expectations set from the first meeting. All things considering, I might try it.
I've been considering therapy and I have been to a therapist before. I feel like I need to see somebody who can prescribe medication though, because the people I have seen have only discussed issues. I feel like I've analyzed myself so much in my head it's not always good for me to talk about it over and over again. Maybe I'll go back though.
Sounds like me... and I classify it as Social Anxiety.... the most embaressing thing is if you do the same movement at the same time as the person you are talking with. It's ridiculous... It just feels like you are overly mentally aware of social situations...
yes and I am living proof there are only a few things Ive tried that have worked except for drugs and drinking and, this is one of them I am doing so much better now GOOD LUCK to u
I never got this but i know someone who has. These techniques and others I learned from a person who had used this program to control their own anxiety attacks and it also worked for me. There are answers and ways to completely eliminate panic attacks without drugs for life.
The programme works! End of, uncomfortable yes but worth it. The only problem I have with it are mainly religious but it does work! You can't overcome anxiety long term with magic or some replacement therapy, facing the symptoms and allowing them to move through you is the most natural and fastest way to end anxiety.

CURE FOR SOCIAL ANXIETY:
1.It is ONLY A SENSATION IN THE BODY!
2.Allow it, fully experience it/fully let it be, even surrender to it, let it flood you :) WITHOUT LABELING IT.
