BOTI winner for street class a few years ago (Hicks Racing Engines in Troy, VA) in Maryland was mid 9's out of a CRX HF with LSVTEC on 20+ PSI boost, stock body and interior, no weight mods. I was traveling with their crew. They never drove it on the street other than to tune it, but it was registered for street use, plates n all.
this engine is non vtec dohc standard aussie delivered.. not created by a drag company, but a guy doing it himself.. he's not a mechanic.. so its a pretty good effort.. it has been clocked at 11.7, with kit, wheels etc.. its a pretty fast car..
