@Merrovean I read his interview online. His name's David Wise (type composer after Wise since their's 2 David Wise's) He uses Midi. which he hooks drum machines and synthesisers to; which creates this immaculate soundtrack.

Now paying 60$ for a very well done game is a steal. The price of video games hasn't gone up at all, but the price of producing video games HAS.

I always used to think this was called "Mining Melancholy" until I got ahold of the soundtrack on an actual confirmed website. I didn't see that on the list, and I saw "Kannon's Klaim" so I was shown that it was indeed a great named song. Although Mining Melancholy kinda sounds like it would be more of a professional name for it. David Wise is a brilliant composer. Sucks that Microsoft owns Rare now though.

DKC2 was, in my opinion, the best in the series. It had a really great soundtrack, it provided an interesting twist in the video game world with making the main protagonist get captured and the sidekick have to rescue him (not counting the atrocity of Mario is Missing), and it provided more animal buddies like Squitter. Not to mention that Dixie is badass. XD
