Thanks for the tut I appreciate it. Very good tut, my only problem is that you don't specify what to turn the knobs to and its kind of hard to see what they're turned to due to quality. I always adjust knobs after making a sound, but I don't like guessing while I'm following a tut. Like I said though, very nice job and you cleared some things up for me.
can someone plz help me out? I just dl'd synth1 and it works in my DAW but cannot for the life of me install the presets and banks that come with or that I've found online... can someone PM me?? thanks!

put the presets in any folder on your hd,
and hit tghe "opt" button in Synth1,
then you can choose the files for the banks via the change button, you must mark the destination bank before you can change it to your folder
