Seems most miss the point of the video. It is pure as most of their deeds. I see only the last samurai guarding their last emperor and being left to keep their word and thus end their lives. Great Warrior of Honor...we could could use a few right now
you know there was never an actual code of honor among samurai..also they didn't leave because of western influence like many believe, they lost the need to exist when there was relative peace. They also had sex with their young students to create a stronger bond so...like most things in human history it has been largly glamorised over the years.
@TheHellBound666 actualy there were several codes but they depended on the masters they served and the missions they were given oh and the schools they trained at(dojo) but some only believed for example one on one combat no mercy no surrender while others were more civilized more detailed and had "soft spots for women and children or unarmed" and still others had the belief that it was dishonorable too live if they failed in killing ther enemies same as any were else in ex.. family codes
in reality samurais were just angry and cruel kids w swords and most of em did a lot of injustice and evil to the old ppl of japan.they were inferior to the real warrior of japan , the ninja.

Actually, it was a book written in English at the turn of the century, was translated into Japanese and the name/idea caught on, There was no "chivalry" like that, just social law.

This is just a movie.The bushido codes in these movies arn't true, exaggerated and misguided.
A real bushido teaching is moral code and the way of living. Also the teaching apply to everyone.
Movie makers don't care, all they care is to sensationalize to get ppl to watch.
If anyone want to know about a true "bushidou" teaching, read "Bushido" the soul of Japan by Inazo Nitobe.
