@edcal4121 The video goes along with the instruction in my book...to help my students and my readers understand the material more. The thing with the drill is it is really hard to "cheat". You can if you make a big slide forward...but pretty much you can't achieve success with this drill and not be in a good impact position..which is what it is all about. Interesting that one of the hottest training aids - The "Tour Striker" tries to help the golfer hit the ideal impact position too $100 more!
I have to say that even though the lesson illustration is not all done in perfect rhythm the fundamental points in the lesson are excellent. I haven't tried this method yet but just doing the exercise here in my living room, I can feel the balance and smoothness of the club release and how it contributes to an easy follow through. I've seen hundreds of videos and this is the 4th one that makes a hell of allot of sense. I will post later on how these drills improve my swing. Great video.
