  • Cool, cool movie! I played the copy I taped on American Movie Classics to death. I hope it's on DVD.

  • @Gerry50ify

Yeah I was 6 when my dad took me to see this, just old enough to get the concept and be totally traumatized at the thought of my father's brain in a monster robot body. Put big scars in my little mind.

  • @TheJomogogo I saw it on tv around that age too. It still has the powers of traumatization, let me tell ya. XD

  • @loserella55

Yes seeing this brought it all back, in 1958 I remember the odd depressed state I was in after leaving the theater, I wasn't quite right for the rest of the day and had nightmares for weeks. Great movie to take a 6 year old to.

  • Yeah, I still wanna know why he didn't rust or short out when he was walking under the river.

  • This movie scared the shit out of me when I was 11 years old.

  • Does anyone know where to get a copy of this movie?

  • "That is a brain that ..remembers..and learns...and suffer"....just like us watching this tripe...

  • Good movie, awesome badass robot too..he'd make a good bouncer.

  • the lesson here is not to make fun of bald men. or you may meet mr spencer.

  • Correction, bald men that can dismantle a car with their bare hands and shoot 50,000 volts of electricity out their eye sockets!!

  • oh i love 1950s sci fi its the best!!!

  • I like old school sci-fi films but I've never heard of this one before. I hope it's good.

  • drum and bass ftw!

  • WAI WAI WAIT!!! science fiction that can SOON BECOME science fact......OOOHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Can you please post Ross Martin's scene in the movie? What a great film!!

  • This was originally released in 1958, and also featured Ross Martin in a brief appearance at the beinning. The moody score is by Nathan Van Cleave, who would create a similar bleak-sounding piano score for "THE TWILIGHT ZONE" episode "The Midnight Sun" in 1961. Art Gilmore is the trailer's announcer here...

  • If you can possibly find the whole film, please put it on, Grindhouse!

  • This is one of the neglected gems of 50's SF! What an awesome robot!

  • Please put the whole thing on if you can!

  • One of those sci-fi oldies. Thanks for putting them on YouTube!
