Conservative Blacks tend to be more educated, better employed, better informed and more articulate than most of their liberal counterparts. Republicans, so far as I can see (I do keep up with politics/news both liberal and conservative) have been against unity/equality and more about imposing their religious views. Denying people human rights (gay rights) and other forms of discrimination, this is no different from when this was done to blacks. I would never support the right for this one of many reasons. The last remark made about, "What is race?" is perhaps the most profound remark in the entire video and a remark that most people probably don't fully understand. This country was founded on the principle that we can not discriminate based on religion. Before this country existed, race didn't exist. There were black people and white people but that was no different than tall people and short people. Our society constructed a system of discrimination out of nothing. Think about that.

As a matter of fact, the record shows that since 1933 Republicans had a more positive record on civil rights than the Democrats. In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes. FACT.

The Republican Party led by Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves. Northern, Christian abolitionists pushed for it and gave their money, time and in some cases, lives for it. "Jim Crowe" laws were under Democrats, not Republicans. These people in this video are good people of faith, and are intelligent and articulate Republicans.

Conservative Blacks tend to be more educated, better employed, better informed and more articulate than most of their liberal counterparts. Look at the group in this video as opposed to the likes of Maxine Waters and her ilk. "Skewed History" is taught in the public school systems and in the liberally run universities.

The dropout rate for high school: 73% of African American, 66% of Latino, and 34% of White. US prison and jail population as of 2008 was 60.21% (African American (non-Hispanic), 20.29% Hispanic, 13.44% White American (non-Hispanic) , and 6.06% Other (Native American,etc). WHY? Can you answer that?

White 38.8%, Black 39.8, Hispanic 15.7, Asian 2.4, other 3.3. So you would argue that almost as many whites are on it. However, Blacks make up less than 14% of the population! The statistics got bad & worse for Blacks with the advent of affirmative action and welfare. It's destroyed the Black family. Much more Black families had fathers before this. Blacks at TEA Party rallies are not video taped and if they are, they're edited out. It doesn't fit into the narrative the liberals want to present. He started asking some about Obama's choice of Sarah Palin for VP & many thought it was a good choice! It says volumes on how the sheep voted on race, not issues. They didn't KNOW the issues. So I think 35% - 75% probably wouldn't know what party Lincoln was. But it wouldn't change anything if they did.

The issue I take with Black conservatives is that they seem to have forgotten that the strides made during the Civil Rights Era were made despite the efforts and political ideologies of the vast majority if conservatives. Progressives of all races fought for equality, while conservatives sought to maintain the status quo. The United States is not post-racial. Not at all.

Tea Party principles--limited Constitutional government, fiscal responsibility, and free enterprise--are advocated for the benefit of all Americans. Large intrusive government, profligate spending of taxpayers' money, and economic stagnation in the private sector hurt Americans regardless of their race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, physical or intellectual disability, or age (did I remember them all?).
