Rct3 has better graphics and all than rct2 but that is the thing that ruins rct3, i dont hate it or something, but Rct2 is better because rct3 is 3D. One thing better about rct3 is that you can enter a ride. <-- this may sound stupid because i just said that 3D is worse, but if a rct4 comes out, they should make a rct2 with some 3D futures like ridecams. Rct2 FTW! :p

@DrummerJRim some of the parks might not allow you to put prices on rides. however, some of the others ONLY let you put prices on rides, which is what this would be useful. if the rides had high excitement, at least. btw to the maker of this vid, does this work with dollars and not just pounds?

I just can't get into 3. Sure it has a lot more stuff but It doesn't feel like rct. It feels more like that abomination thrillville *shudder*. I still play 2 and I love it. I can do so much mroe with it than I can with three.

@ih8makinusernames Personally i don't even really like 2. 1 Was the best. I like 3 purely because some of the features, such as being able to ride the rides and the 3d graphics of it, but out of the ride...it seems like the original two's graphic styles were better...

@fatblue00 It probably is, the rollercoaster design is a Vekoma Boomerang, Vekoma builds that design for many parks. The one you see is a replica of Cobra, which is a Boomerang, at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania there is a Boomerang called Sidewinder.

I've always just made everything $1.00. Except the Park Entrance Fee. I raised based on 10% of the guest in park total. Plus, I put a "DO NOT ENTER" sign at the park entrance so no one can leave. But you have to let some leave occasionally because the park rating can down.

If you advertise your park whenever there is an option available and you set the entrance price or ride price to the right price you can make 50k+ money yearly. I was able to charge 50$ entrance fee to a park that was not even 1/2 built because I advertised and set and raised the admission fee as my park grew. At first you will only slowly gain $, but once you get 20+ attractions and if you advertise and set the admission fee according to how many rides you have, you'll be making loads of money

@Deanamx For admission, you can make loads of money just from advertising and setting your price higher while advertising. I always start the ticket cost at 10$. I add 5$ to the ticket cost if i have 5 rides, and 10$ if one of those 5 rides is a roller coaster. So if i had 2 coasters and 10 rides total, I would charge 30$, plus advertise, and be able to make 10k + per 6 weeks. This doesn't work for everyone and usually works best if you build a roller coaster first thing. With this its easy.

@Deanamx For Botany Breakers I would suggest you build along with the terrain without deleting trees, because scenery like trees and walls add to the excitement rating of rides, and there for allow you to raise the admission price of each ride. Also research food/stalls till you get an ATM so the people can stay in your park forever. Raise your ride price ALONG with your excitement rating, and lower it by about ten from there. 5 excitement : 5.00 $ admission price - 0.10 through 0.50 = price

@tristancow Different parks have different admission types. Find a park that is free to get in but costs money to ride, I think Bumbly Bazaar is like that.

@doggy10101 if it shows the fee of the ride is free. then the park is the way u will make the majority of ur money. u will have to change the prive of the park admission to make more money. ur food and drink places will also help make u money.

@doggy10101 the key to making a decent map is to not to expand the park to quickly. figure out which rides to better than others by seeing if they make more per hour or per month thatn it costs to run them. if nobody is riding the ride, lower the cost of the ride, to close to 20cents or 50 cents or something reasonable, so the guest start riding it. THE MAIN POINT IS TO NOT EXPAND YOUR PARK TO FAST AND TO MANAGE YOUR RIDES INCOMES AND COSTS. MESSAGE BACK IF U NEED MORE HELP ABOUT ANYTHING.

actually this isn't a cheat, it's just strategy. The only thing with this is that all the other rides that are for minial thrill seekers have to be $.50. Another strategy is to set research at 100 or 0 dollars

1) Just wait a long time, this guy is crap at RCT2, he doesn't know how to make fast cash. >_>

2) Close all rides and the park. A month or two later close all stalls also. When you have ~100 guests left, re-open the park, rides and stalls, and prepare yourself for a large amount of money about to be at your fingertips >:) Gl Rct'ing :p

The reason you cant charge money for a ride is because the senario your on is admision prices only, everything else is free...the other senario you want is one that gives free park entry and admission to ebery ride and stall...

yeah man, thats because your on a scenario which you can only make money from people going into your park so the entrance charges them, but then everything else in the park except drinks food etc. are free. Different scenario's allow you to make people pay for your rides.
