  • I was going to comment.....

... but then I had to answer to the Coca-Cola company....

  • god damn it I love this movie.

  • Sounds like "I can walked." to me for some reason.

  • @TheMarovan Thanks, but my Dad told me already when I asked him.

  • I have this as my start up sound on my computer.

  • Dr. Strangelove OMG, Peter Sellers was an EXCELLENT actor in this movie. His "Dr. Strangelove" portrayal was amazing.

  • "Mein Fuhrer, FEGELEIN MADE ME WALK!"

  • I was under the impression that this was a total improvisation on behalf of Sellers. It was left in because it amplifies the absurdity of the situation ten fold. Bravo Kubrick and Sellers.

  • Do i have to watch the movie in order to understand this joke? because.....i don't get it.

  • @horaciosi Kinda. He's an ex-nazi who works as an advisor for the president, and he's disabled. His right hand is still a nazi, and it does the hitler salute and other nazilike things. He also does things like call the president "Mein Fuhrer" and then here, right before the end of the world, he can walk!

  • @LegoPatapon lol... "president"

  • @horaciosi you should watch this movie anyways because it's probably one of the top 20 best movies

  • Since the US and Russia were no longer world powers, Dr.Strangelove would build the next human race;therefore, he could build Hitler's "perfect race"! His entire body came alive because Hitler's dream had become a reality, the power from his right hand flashed into his whole body! Brilliant!

  • @TheBullMoose95 Ooh, did that involve the whole "ten females for every male" bit? ^_^

  • I GET IT! Dr.Strangelove's body represented the Nazi Regime since he used to work for them, most of him was disabled. During the movie his right hand is the only thing that moves, meaning that there still was a tiny ember of the Third Reich left in him. At the end of the movie he jumps up and screams, "My Fuhrer, I can walk!"

  • I don't quite get this line when I watched the movie. Can someone explain it?

  • @azndude3600 It was not scriptet, he improvised for fun... so probably only the actor knew what it was about :)

  • Funny as f**k

  • And Fegelein was the one who crippled him.

  • Mein Fuhrer, I can ROCK! *plays heavy metal music*

  • @Marcohazard *Plays hard electronic rock music*

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Sellers was amazing

  • This line completely spontaneous- the actor stood up, forgetting he was supposed to be crippled, and said it as a joke. XD

  • BEST LINE EVAH

  • I never really got this part....

  • Until that very moment, I could tell that Dr. Strangelove struggles with his right side. His right mind wasn't so "right": he wore a black glove on that arm, his arm was uncontrollable, and the hair on that side of his head was not well groomed. But finally, he's all right and happy now lol.

  • @Agent1W Oh wait, I get it now. His right hand acts like a Nazi because it on his "right wing".

  • @FetaCheese222 LOL yes, or his right side is his screwed-up side.

  • @FetaCheese222 not quite. just non-sequitor.

  • @FetaCheese222 Not sure what you mean by that. The Nazi's were fairly middle fielded.

  • @Drunkenmo Uh, no they weren't.

  • @FetaCheese222 Uh, study politics. The Nazis' ideology of economics (where right and left come into play) were a mix of privatization and public workings. The terms 'right' or 'left' wing have been bastardised over the years; wherein right wing is used as pejorative to somewhat oppressive governing forces, when all it means is that they have an emphasis on privatization.

  • @Agent1W I'd like to point out that the glove (and the entire 'alien hand' scenario) was an improvisation used by Sellers, who had seen Kubrick wearing the leather gloves and used the effect for comedy.

  • Just saw this (finally I know) at a screening in my city. Brilliant film and this scene is quite possibly the best ending line/ending ever.

  • brilliant!

  • The meaning behind him standing and walking is...? I never got that, even after seeing the film 4332 times. Could be the irony that the world comes to an end the instant he stands? Or that he was channeling Hitler in a moment where he could seize power for Fascism with his new world order plans and miraculously becomes physically able again? Still, funny tone and great end to an amazing movie!

  • @Decelerated I read that it was unscripted. He forgot he was meant to be disabled and rather than do the shoot again he quickly covered for himself

  • @Decelerated u need to see the movie 4337 times like i did..then u will understand

  • MEIN FUHER!!! I can walk lol

  • Peter Sellers = pure Genius !!!!

  • Best 6 Second video on the internet

  • @AlexDeLargeisHere this is random, but i like your screen name. gotta love The Clockwork.

  • blodsquatch,

see the whole film, now please. one of the funniest films of all time

  • funny : frightening

    50: 50

a nuclear war in the movies is funny but in real life it's another thing

  • A perfect end to a fantastic movie!

  • huh?

  • i dont get it

  • haha funny
