JJ422 ,Jabreel was correct when he said Non Islam. It is Haram to vote to be ruled by anything other than Islam. Hence the term "Voting for Non- Islam"

The act of voting or electing in general is not against Islam. We can take shura on many things that dont conflict with the Hukm (Commands of Allah swt.) But to vote for "NON-ISLAM". Is the major sin. So no we cant vote or participate in any vote or election that wants to take the soverignty of Allah away and give to man. Thats what the whole basis of Democracy is about, man (those who get eleced) decides whats right and wrong. Its clearly in the Quran see below.
