but that game has a LOT of other ones on it. If you're feeling nostalgic and really like old arcade games, I would completely recommend getting it. It has like 24 or so, I think, and "remixes" of other games.

So in grade 6, about, I begged my mom to let me get a joystick thing at london drugs. It had 5 games, Xevious, Mappy, Mrs. Pacman, Pole Position, and Galactiga. That was pretty cool. Then, when I was 13 at christmas, I got myself a wii. Lately my mom got me a game called namco megamix museum, and It has a TON of games on it, and I think after seeing this on more than one system, It's one of my favourites.

I always wanted a nintendo video game thing, but all I had was the first gameboy, with three games. solomon, super mario land, and tetris. They were all fun, but 3 isn't a lot of games. I was 4 at the time. My mom didn't like video games, so thats why I never got a gamecube when I was like, 9 or so. I had computer games like fatty bear, and freddy fish when I was young but i had already beat them several times.

mappy one of my fav game. i used to play it a lot in my childhood and still i remember my craziness in bonus stage to fall on the balloon of big cat head worth 500 points most probably.i love mappy and the soundtrack.awesome:)

@TheAzureNightmare I believe that was because TENGEN did this port of Mappy, they also did Pac-Man, and Ms. Pac-Man.

They basically made arcade ports without Namco's permission.

Or something like that....But I am sure they did Pac-Man. So I believe they did Mappy well.

They might have put NamcoT to make it look like Namco was part of this port....Or something. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But nice Toc-Man joke. XD

@Daluigi207 No, Namco made this port, and it was only released in Japan.

Tengen was a division of Atari Games for publishing games on consoles other than those of Atari Corp., e.g. NES, Genesis, etc. They often distributed Namco console ports in the US, but only a few for the NES.

I do not know where the 'T' came from, possibly just to specify a home game division of Namco.

@someone64 Wow. Didn't know that, thanks for helping me! I've also seen a picture of "Mappy Land" with the NamcoT logo. Strange nobody seems to know where the "T" came from. Maybe Wikipedia says something about that. And now I'm starting to wonder if Toc-Man's name from Pac-Man World is a insiders joke. =/
