my experiance with these is that the extractor needs fitted on some of them. The claw is too long and binds on the cases with some types of ammo. With a fitted extractor they run very well and are actually very accurate for a pocket pistol.

Dear Nutnfancy.

I own a DB9 in 9mm, and had a similar reliability issue, but discovered that it was from carbon build up in the firing pin channel. The specs there are narrower than on the GLOCKs, so that firing pin has to be cleaned out after every shoot and the weapon will work. Something to try if your polish job does not work for you. Thanks for the video!

Seeing that preon 2 makes me miss the one I lost at a family reunion when we were playing capture the flag. If anyone wants a fun game get some 20 ga. shotgun wads and 3/4 inch pvc pipe and then run around and shoot each other. We use them to play steel the flag like you would when playing airsoft or paintball, it's a lot cheaper, doesn't hurt as bad for little kids and is way fun.

Tried the DB9 myself. Really wanted it to work as I love the form factor and weight. Unfortunately had nothing but trouble. Frame pins walking out of the gun, wouldn't feed hollowpoints from a full mag, and frequent FTF malfs. Only reliable with a firm 2 hand hold in perfect locked up form. Anything else to include weak hand induced FTFs. No way near reliable enough for me to depend on. Traded towards a used G27 and couldn't be happier.

@John234pwns if i remember correctly, when you step down from the 9mm for imported handguns. BSATF "BULL SHIT ALCOHOL TOBACCO FIREARMS AGENCY" in its infinate wisdom has a point system that makes it impossible for glock to make up the points hit for not being 9mm or bigger. glock can not put enough "target gun" parts on their 380 to make them legal to import.

I took mine to a local gunsmith and he did a pipe job It now runs 100 percent. It is a fantastic 380 that you can feel good about..Most 380s feel like toys not this one ,its ugly enough to look masculine.

If you get one that shoots, its a great light carry gun or BUG.

.380 Glock's are available, you just can't import them into the US due to the .380 round not being classed as a sporting round.

I bought one back in december, I couldn't get more than a few rounds through it without some kind of jam. Sent it back to db, came back 2 weeks later, it runs 100% now, I've put everything from junk ammo to the good stuff, it eats it all, I love that little gun now.

Good to see someone having better luck with the DB380 than I did. Was shooting with co-workers and we tried two demo guns with several mags, one 380 ran fine, the other had failures to feed every round. Both guns were well broken in and we just couldn't explain it. Because of that I opted for a Kahr. Maybe I'll suggest the store try polishing the feed ramp. Thanks for the video!

I have now heard 2 diametrically opposed positions on the topic of "breaking in" of weapons. Terry seems to think you should; others at the NRA's monthly mag, The American Rifleman, think it's more myth than must. They may be referring more to long guns, though. I'm all for putting 100 or 200 down range for my .380 CCW, but I believe anything more than is diminishing returns. Thanks Nutn & Veri!

AS EXPLAINED TO ME by the local USPO and third party shipping store: UPS won't ship a gun through third party stores. You have to go to the distribution center in Stafford, Tx near Houston for example.

Fed Ex will do it overnight only. My FFL can go ground for less through them or the USPS because the FFL license is on file at both. Then you can get ground rates.

As far as .22 goes, I'm only buying CCI anymore. I used to be a HUGE fan of Winchester but even their ammo seems to have issues in my .22's nowadays. CCI is the only brand that I have found that is consistently well made anymore.

Interesting video. I am always a little leery of guns that blatantly copy other guns. I understand "why re-invent the wheel" but I'd like to see manufacturers trying to improve on designs. Are the Glocks model 25/28 not available in the USA? Those are in .380

@seriousGeex The way ATF's "import points" scheme is set up, pistols get more points for things like target sights, target triggers, method of operation, etc., etc. Since both the 25 and 28 operate as BLOWBACKs (like a Jennings or Highpoint) instead of as locked-breech pistols, they don't get enough import points to make the cut. The Glock 25/28 can be imported to the US under only 1 circumstance: A LEO agency specifically requests it, and said LEO agency therefore must own it.

Bulk .22lr that I love: CCI Blazer 525 pack. Actually didn't like it when I used it to break in my 15-22 MOE. Had constant failure to fires but now that the gun is broken in (could have been a bad box?), my rifle loves them! Nice n' clean too compared to Winchester 555 Xpert
