@Laingraves I can agree that crap streaming over the radio these days. The "New Music" just sucks. I liked ToN, Seventh Void is good as well, and typically any band like this made in the 90's. Wasn't a fan of the 80's to much. But the 21st century gah.

@Grosmeyer01 yeah the whole cd was actually written around 04-05...the started recording it after type o came off tour and released it originally in 09. type o was in preproduction for a new cd when peter passed...
As awesome as Layne Staley was, Jerry Cantrell was always the heart and soul of AiC, so it's different than Type O where Pete Steele was the guy. Cantrell wrote most of the songs so there's nothing wrong with calling the band Alice In Chains. Peter Steele was Type O, so I don't see how they could go on without him, he was the mastermind.
Seen these guys four times in the past couple of years, including when they opened for Type O, and every time I saw to it I was in the front row. There performances are incredible!! I met them all on all these occasions as well, and they are the greatest guys to hang with.

sounds like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains... several other great influences... but mostly from spending so much time in Type O Negative; I can hear Peter singing right there with him... creepy and cool.
Great song and great band. Saw them back on October 26th when they were performing with Type O Negative and Destrophy in Cincinnati, Ohio. Along with the members of Type O Negative I met the Seventh Void members as well and Kenny got really drunk and I got a picture with him, lol. Cool guy though! RIP Peter Steele.
The whole album is well worth ur cash, ok, its not too original, but the songs are very good, and the band very tight. Got this 6 months ago and I still listening to it everytime I drive my car.

sounds like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains... several other great influences... but mostly from spending so much time in Type O Negative; I can hear Peter singing right there with him... creepy and cool.

Great song and great band. Saw them back on October 26th when they were performing with Type O Negative and Destrophy in Cincinnati, Ohio. Along with the members of Type O Negative I met the Seventh Void members as well and Kenny got really drunk and I got a picture with him, lol. Cool guy though! RIP Peter Steele.

The whole album is well worth ur cash, ok, its not too original, but the songs are very good, and the band very tight. Got this 6 months ago and I still listening to it everytime I drive my car.

yeah i agree that Kenny could do a bit more with his voice for his break out bands' song. you know he's stuck with that voice from all of the years with type o negative. at least the music is different though
