  • 00:47 till 00:50 is nice!

  • Classic up with B..Joel Piano Man

  • The drummer has an amazing 'stache. It's almost as good as the song.

  • Solsbury Hill: the best way to instantly make a movie trailer sound romantic :)

  • For one Concert to see him it will be the greatest!!! To see him and to die!! That´s my thinking!!

  • He´s the greatest Musican in the world!!!!!!!!

  • Such a cute song.:) This superb live performance only makes it all the cuter. Mr. Gabriel looks so adorable on that funny mini bicycle. He keeps making circles like that while singing, so effortlessly. It's not as easy as one might think, I know that because I tried that before, it only made me dizzy and soon lost my balance. (I still bear a tiny scar to prove it):D

  • Vanilla Sky brought me here

  • He was funny on the bike. I was laughing. Love this song!

  • love the shadows made on the audience with the bicycle

  • Watching PG perform brings me so much joy and amusement.

  • Fantastic HD quality! I was very impressed and wondering how in the world could he sound so good riding the bike, etc. 2:05-2:06 answered it. . .lip-syncing. :( It should be illegal! Nice ventriloquist act though. Big money for "live"concerts and the fans are duped. . .

  • @pauldt

I'm not entirely convinced. The scene at 2:05-2:06 looks like it is out of sync in the video edit. Notice how in the scene before he is just getting off the bike and it cuts to him being fully off the bike and walking.. it could possibly be that he was singing when facing away from the camera? I think I can almost make out Peter singing the words a few seconds before. That's just my take.. :)

  • @krabby8333 You could be right! Regardless, a great video and one of my favorites!

  • @pauldt

PG concerts are shows first and foremost a performance, always have been, and one thing you can count on is that he will entertain you in ways no-one else does. PG doesn't always sing that well live, especially when performing the 'stunners' and I'm happy for this bit to be slightly pre-recorded if that's the case. And when he does sing live, without too many distractions, it's beautiful to behold.

  • whos the girl with him??

  • @Dauphinpilot

    Usually it's his daughter Melanie

  • @Dauphinpilot

definitely is, do you see the resemblance?

  • Thank you so much means alot to me a 20 year old just getting into this music, again thanks for uploading

  • Genial Peter G,Tony Levin gran bajista-demassie...

  • I think the change of direction of the cycle mid-song (02:05) during the line "...Son he said, grab your things, I've come to take you home..." is poignant, especially in light of what the song is supposed to be about.

  • @robertdeanwhitehead That's a really cool observation. You gave me a little chill...

  • @daisymc33 Thanks for that Daisy. I can't believe anyone else didn't notice it. Poetry 'in motion' for sure.

  • @robertdeanwhitehead And that he's pedaling against the rotation of the spinning stage to that point, then turns to go with it.

  • @daisymc33 Agreed. Labouring against what he wants to do - "I was feeling part of the scenery, I walked right out of the machinery"...

  • @Rentaghost76 How is it embarrassing? It would be if getting old meant that he could no longer play the music to the same standard but that had not happend at all.

  • @Rentaghost76 you are a dumbass, it never is about what an artist looks like, it is the quality of the music itself. That is such an ignorant comment that it probably should not be addressed, but in this case why not?

  • @Rentaghost76 Where would all the really hip people be without the insipid and shallow chauvinism of the young.

  • This is so amazing, it made me cry

  • Now this is a fabulous song. One of my favs of Forever! Absolutely superb my brilliant friend. This is magnificent in all aspects. Thanks vox!

  • guy at 1:01 looks like charles manson lmao

  • Tomorrow i´m grabbing my things and someone is taking me home. Inspiring.

  • Saw Peter and company in Denver in (I think!) 1993. It was a religious experience I will never forget.

  • Great live act !

    PRO FI CI AT !!

  • god his voice grounds me

  • headphones on and open volume.

  • i love this song i wish i was at the concert my dad is a bog fan of peter and i love when it goes all giddy :D

  • how awesome is it that he is riding a bike, having a blast, celebrating, with the innocence of a child. beautiful!

  • Awesome, heard this song yesterday on the radio for the first time in a zillion years and spent an hour today to find the version I liked best. This is it.

  • @dotk10007

Yes, you are right. I also like the Secret World Live one. The live versions are much better than the original.

  • "To baldly go where no band has gone before" ;)

    Amazing! :D

  • @Acridiel Why do baldness always collect so much negativity? I am bald and we're not innately evil you know. Still human and very much functioning the way I should.

  • @dracopticon Uhm, sorry if I offended you in any way. It was just supposed to be a pun on a certain classic Star Trek Quote. Nothing more. I'm not that good equiped in the hair department myself anymore ^^

  • @Acridiel It's totally ok! It's me that shouldn't be so worked up over this. But then again, almost in every action film these days, the bad guy is often bald and the hero has one fantastic hair cut. So tired of that... Thanks for your answer!

  • @Acridiel lol baldly, pun intended?

  • @mdf072 Yes, it was. And I really meant no offense. I love his musik. :D

  • where is groove? where is Manu Katche?

  • How bad must the band members with hair feel? Do they feel left out, isolated? Do they get the urge to go slaphead? Even the bonnie lassie, didn't do Sinead O'Connor any harm.

  • Thanks for posting this great song and singer-one of the best and most joyous pop songs ever recorded in the twentieth century in my humble,six-plus decades of listening experience. I still ponder on its meaning, but who cares, it sounds brilliant!

  • I read somewhere that he is talking about his decision to leave Genesis. Not sure how true it is, but he is definitely making a life decision in the song...

  • @jonwints six plus decades, and you love Peter Gabriel CONGRATULATIONS from Spain, Genesis fan.

Peter Gabriel sounds brilliant, I agree

  • i love bicycles

  • I sure wish I could say "keep my things they've come to take me home!" I am so lonely and hate this place.

  • Happiness is fuelling my room

  • Música linda!

    =]

  • :-D :-D ;-D

  • @sasafarov Roses are read violets are blue in soviet russia hookers pay you

  • One of the last true english eccentric geniuses. never liked genesis after he left.
