lol, I must have killed most of my garden haha. Mainly cause I didn't take the time to compost and have good soil. You'll love Senegal, pretty much the same thing as The Gambia except French... and I feel like the villages get more government support for schools. Take the time to make your home a place where you feel safe and comfortable, so you can get out of your comfort zone and meet people during the day, build relationships, then come back to a place where you can rejuvenate for tomorrow.
That's so cool to see how your place evolved over your time in service! I'm going to Senegal in august and it's encouraging to see the possibility of creating a real home there over time. I really love the growth of the garden too :)
