my peke does the same thing to my golden retriever, but my golden has such a good heart that she just lets him bully her. She's very protective of him (the peke).
Amen - lol! When we got our first Peke, she just came in & took over, all 2.6 lbs of her. We have several now, & they will take toys right out of our German Shepherd's mouth - & she lets them.
But you must be carefull that big dog could hurt your pekingese if it jumped on its back or something,,,
