  • i just got the screen protector, i didn't like how it looks with the full body protection

  • good job! now myself,, im scared to do it but wish my luck..

  • Get a can of Cyber Clean jello before you start. It will get every atom of dust out, even between the tiny keys.

  • thank u very much

  • hey i had a question.. was it a perfect fit?.. because i got clear coat for my n900 and screen protector sheet was lil smaller from all side. about 1mm.. i likes things to be atleast close to perfect.. lol

  • it is a perfect fit as it has bits cut out for around the sensors an front cam but to be honest both the feel and look of it is rubbish! In other words it is noticable and makes the device look a lil cheap. The other bad thing abt this protector is that all the dust/dirt sticks to the edges even around the sensor/cam bits. Highly NOT recommended this protector.

  • @360NextLevel I agree, I installed mine about 2 weeks ago, the front piece is ok, feels funny though, but i can live with it, cuz now i go full force on the screen with my nail, lol. So i don't really mind the front. But the back looks like sh*t. It really does make it look very cheap. Feels weird too, but like the rest of you, i'm stuck with this cuz i don't know what else to get, Please let us know how the Body Guardz works out, if all goes well i will give it a try

  • nice vid.I did the Zagg full body on me N95 a year ago,it was scutery to do.good protection tho & the bubbles did stretch out alot better after a few days.but after a few months some edges started to peel away and crap gets in behind.

I Zagged me ipod classic,Its brilliant.

I just ordered the N900 think il get the Zagg again for it to.

  • unfortunately it is the same issue. Even on the n95 black i had, it wud get dirty and on the n900 i can see dirty gettin stuck around the edges an that. The whole feel of it isnt nice either, an with the dirt its making the device look bad!

Im in the process of getting another 1 from Body Guardz as someone here suggested :)

  • Great video. Had no problems getting it on and liking it so far. Didn't see any reason to protect the whole N900 thought.

  • Hey mate ,can you do more videos about n900 ,i really liked them all! And i subscribed!

  • yea i will be doing more, but unfortunately i dont have the camera to do it at the moment.

Once i have it back i will be doing plenty more as ive got a lot to show on this phone, plus some tricks n hints ;)

  • @OzN900 ok mate ,i subscribed to you!

  • Hey mate nice video

cant wait for your next vid.. can you please point out the difference between the touch input(finger/stylus) with and without the screen protector.

    Thanks

  • There is no difference. take a look at my new video part 2 of the zagg shield.

Wether u have the protective shield on or off there is no difference. it is spot on.

  • Another follow up video to this is being uploaded right now and will be completed shortly. It will show you what the touch screen is like with the shield on and using the phone, so check back! :D

  • it would have been nice to actually see you put the shield on using the card, you edited that out..

it also would be nice to see if the bubbles actually did go away and to see the n900 on to determine how badly the shield influences the amount of pressure required.

  • Sorry abt that, i had to edit it out as it was too long otherwise and youtube would not have allowed me to upload it then.

It was quite messy installing it using the sponge. Not much pressure is required, the main issue is getting the alignment right and the way you want it. As for the bubbles a cple have disappeared already and ill be doing a review in a few days time an ill be able to show you properly then the results.

  • yo missunderstood me concerning the pressure! what i meant was how the shield (its an extra layer) desensitizes the resistive touchscreen = whether there is a significant difference of pressure required to make the screen of the n900 react to your presses.

  • I have just completed a follow up video for the very thing you are talking about, altho i thought u were refferring to installing the shield....i still covered this issue an shows me using it. hopefully this will cheer u up :)

Check back in say about 1-2hrs time hopefuly it will be done, or check my twitter ill update everyone once its there.

Thanks for the comment, i appreciate your input.

  • @AAWien I have installed Invisibleshield to my iPod and iPhone, and the bubbles go away if you let it just stay :P

  • @AAWien I did this same for my N900 and after 24h 99% of the bubbles where gone and after 3-4 days the last one that was largest to start with was gone.
